October 10, 201510 yr This will be Klopp's first five PL fixtures. Spurs (A) Southampton (H) Us (A) Palace (H) City (A) That is a pretty tough set of games to play. I think it would be a job well done for them if he can get 8 or more points out of this.
October 10, 201510 yr Emre Can could be a revelation in midfield. But struggle to see how the strikers will work. Klopp played one up front so Benteke and Sturridge will probably not play together. Also Firmino is more of a second striker type player so I'm unsure how he fits in the team as the no.10 role is Coutinho's. Lallana also like playing in that position so can't see him in the team. Can see Klopp bringing back Markovic when his loan's up. That team has a lot of remodelling to do and its not just a tactical change that's needed. But part of me can see players like Sakho and Lovren start to play well now with the whole new manager influence and the competition it causes.
October 10, 201510 yr They will have "new manager bounce" so I'm fairly sure they will do well out of them.

Sturridge and Coutinho will fit right in as the 'wide' players. They'll be very scary once the players get used to his tactics. One more hurdle for us to jump Im afraid
October 11, 201510 yr He wanted Benteke at Dortmund. Sturridge and Coutinho will fit right in as the 'wide' players. They'll be very scary once the players get used to his tactics. One more hurdle for us to jump Im afraid Sturridge wasn't prepared to play out wide for us as a raw youngster, he sure as hell won't put up with that now. As for Coutunho, I'd be happy to see him out wide, it would be a waste of him.
October 11, 201510 yr Sturridge wasn't prepared to play out wide for us as a raw youngster, he sure as hell won't put up with that now. As for Coutunho, I'd be happy to see him out wide, it would be a waste of him. Thats why I put wide in quotes. They get a lot of width from fullbacks and the 'wide' players often attack through the middle. So versatile players who can do both will suit Klopp well.
October 15, 201510 yr Author All the players will be dying to impress so they will give spurs a game. Will take him time but they will obviously improve. He will get a decent transfer kitty no doubt as well and his name will attract players who want to play for him. They'll still have to pay mega bucks to get the top end players though. I think their realistic aims for the next few years is top 4. They wont be winning the league anytime soon.
October 15, 201510 yr If Jose were to go, we could still just pinch him from Liverpool anyway and pay off his contract.
October 26, 201510 yr I thought his goal celebration was a bit OTT - what'll he do if they ever score a meaningful goal? https://vine.co/v/eVL0hnK7xEi
October 26, 201510 yr I thought his goal celebration was a bit OTT - what'll he do if they ever score a meaningful goal? https://vine.co/v/eVL0hnK7xEi Oh lord, we're going from one annoying celebration to another.
October 27, 201510 yr I thought his goal celebration was a bit OTT - what'll he do if they ever score a meaningful goal? https://vine.co/v/eVL0hnK7xEi It was full of enthusium, passion and encouragemnet, to support 'his team'....................... when Jose does it its crude and full of arrogance and inciting/riling the opposition fans (esp scum supporters) ................................. oh f**k....here we go again.....another one to love (when it suits) !!!!
November 1, 201510 yr 'Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reacted with bemusement after being asked if the club can win the Premier League title this season after their 3-1 victory at Chelsea. Philippe Coutinho scored twice and substitute Christian Benteke was also on target as Liverpool came from behind to heap more pressure on Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. But the win was Liverpool's first in the Premier League since Sept. 26, and their first away from home since the opening day of the season at Stoke City. "Are you crazy? You think after one win at Chelsea we should think about this?" Klopp said in his postmatch news conference. "I've been here three weeks, round about.' Welcome to Liverpool Jurgen
November 1, 201510 yr Hate him already, hope he steps in chewing gum. He'll have watch his footing away at Old Trafford, there'll still be loads of the stuff near the dugout :)
November 9, 201510 yr More reality for Klopp. You may never walk alone. Watching alone is another matter. The headline is: Jurgen Klopp:Liverpool manager felt 'alone' at Anfield. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34762806 Edited November 9, 201510 yr by Spudulike
November 22, 201510 yr Well he's already doing better than Rodgers in away games against top opposition. They've sliced City apart. Come to imagine what will happen if one of their strikers hits form.
December 2, 201510 yr I'm beginning to like Klopp, despite my better judgment. Him telling Sturridge to (approx) 'man up and take some pain' is common sense, rather than pussyfooting around players.
December 2, 201510 yr just seen a clip of him saying "I cant forget that f**king loss to crystal palace" in a presser. Now I get that he's a character and he is the media's darling at the moment, but if Mourinho had spoken like that I can guarantee he would have faced some form of action from the FA. One rule for them, another for us.
December 2, 201510 yr Saw this after Liverpool beat Southampton 6-1. Analysis: Steve Claridge on BBC Radio 5 live: "Are Liverpool contenders for the title? You can only go on what we saw tonight and things can change quickly. This was mesmerising. Can't believe we pay for BBC. Like Pat Nevin says, there's a lot of people in the media who want Liverpool to win.
December 3, 201510 yr Our board must be kicking themselves for not signing him when we had the chance....
December 3, 201510 yr We had a chance? When was this? Unless ofc you mean we kick out Jose just to get Klopp which I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and not think that is considered a chance Maybe Real Madrid had a chance. We never had a chance, we had a manager the whole time. Edited December 3, 201510 yr by Stim
