Not sure about that loan, they have 3 strikers already. Better off just staying at Huddersfield.

He wasn't at Huddersfield?

Ayew and Borja are pants and Gomis isn't returning. Unless they sign more players his only obstacle is Llorente.

Who is a completely different type of striker to him. Swansea seems ideal to me.

Best move for him. Swansea play the best football out of all the clubs wanting him. Also assuming Llorente stays, he will compete with him and sometimes even partner him. Llorente is not mobile enough to start every game so Tammy will defo start a lot of games and with Clement being manager and former Chelsea coach, must be an additional bonus for Tammy. Hope all goes well down there but as soon as I heard Swansea was interested I thought this would be his best option.

Swansea forum seems mixed on it, some reckon the football they play won't suit him at all, as he's more of an in-the-box poacher.

We had 4-5 offers for Tammy, its not like we forced him on Swansea. If he goes there its because they really wanted him and Clement thinks he can help them next year.

Anyone else see that story about Mbappe and how we let him go to develop Abraham and Solanke? I know every club has a 100 stories just like that but man what a gut punch when you read it. In all honesty with the way we progress youth Mbappe would probably never of had a chance to shine with us anyway. With Solanke f**king off to Liverpool, here's hoping Abraham can develop and become a decent player for us just numb the blow of tossing a Mbappe to the way side.

Even if we did have him, people would go mental at him displacing Pedro/Willian and we had an on fire Costa early this season.

You might argue that he could've played during the 15/16 season but he'd have been 17 then so we can't really expect a 17yr old to perform when we were in danger of relegation.

Hindsight will always be 20/20.

Has he signed a new contract with us?

Yes 5 year contract extension. Sounds good. Hopefully if performs at Swansea, then we are looking at a 30m striker on our books.
