It's not a fact, it's your opinion, and you are wrong.

    I don't feel qualified to say, because I have not watched all of them, in great detail, over every match of a season.  Have you?  All I would say is that based on what I have seen, he isn't as good as Alonso or Dave, at the very least, nor as good as the Tottenham w**ker or even L'Arse w**ker.

    I would also say that Bertrand isn't even the best left-back that has left Chelsea over the last few years.  He's OK, and seems to have found his level.

    So bertrand is not as good as Monreal now?

    Well... says all there is to say. Alonso played as a LWB, same as Rose. Completely different scenarios. Azpi is sh*t going forward on the left, dont hold it against him, just the fact that he is very right footed. Needs an hour to open his body and put in a cross from his right.

    And in one, concise post, you display clearly that you know very little about football.  If you truly believe that Bertrand is any better than Van Aanholt, you are deluded.  There was a reason we let both of them go, and why no Chelsea manager gave either one a starting place in the first team.

    Anyway, I'm done with this, as is Bertrand hoping for a place at a top team.

    Really?  You think so?  I don't see very much difference between the two, other than the general standard of the teams they are playing in.

    Sandro is one of the best LBs in the world, so yes, Bert would be left behind, as for Mendy, a simple case of grass being greener. The guy has the potential but a lot of times finds himself out of position. I would give him an year in the PL playing against the likes of shaqiri and arnautovic daily rather than finding himself playing against decent wingers twice a season or so. 

    When Bertrand had that run of games in the Rafa season when Cole was injured almost everyone accepted he wasn't that good and will be at best be an understudy going forward. Sorry but Bertrand is the definition of getting better the more he doesn't play (for Chelsea).

    I'd sooner have PvA than bertrand, van Aanholt is suspect defensively, but offers a lot more going forward. Bertrand is mediocre at best. Rose and Alonso were the best left back/ wingbacks this year by a long way.

    coming from the guy who claims that monreal and PVA is better than bertrand!!! Well played!!!

    Bertrand doesn't even appear in the Telegraph's top 20 defenders of the season.  Which is about right.  Monreal does, so does Rose.  I'd take the considered view of professional football writers over that of some bloke with a Sky subscription.

    He was 22/23, playing his first pro-season for chelsea if you dont consider the 200 odd minutes (including the CL final before that). I would have said, a quite decent building block for a youth player to kick on for. Infact much better than some of the performances and absolute lack of positional sense that zouma often displays.

    But I do agree with the bolded part, though not in the sense that you are saying. He has gotten 10 times better. And thats exactly what happens when a good player is given the confidence and the backing required.

    aww. Some other great site said Pogba was one of the best CMs in the world on this season's performances, I am sure you agree with that too. 

    So you are one of those who go through the telegraph and mirror articles to find out who the best player is instead of actually watching them. Got you mate.

    But his attacking play and the fact that spurs play a lot of games as a back 3 specially when dier is in mid, it is more a back 3 than a back 4, it takes care of a lot of rose's defensive liability. 

    Defensively I feel bertrand's better while rose is better in attack.

    Why is that the word of god??? The same telegraph that ranks VVD at 4th despite playing just half a season. I think I am fine judging bertrand than just by a tabloid's rating.
