I think this one is happening.

Teixera has come out today and said he is "very happy about Chelsea's interest" and "he will probably move clubs as he wants to be involved with the national team".

 

I will be surprised if this doesn't happen. Excited about the possibility of Hazard returning from injury and having a bit of a rest with Willian/Teixera who know eachother well from their Shakhtar days. Very dangerous attack.

It's been slow considering we've talking to him for a while. Expected it done by now

does he know we're in a relegation battle and he is almost guaranteed champions league football every season? lol

If anything that means he actually cares about playing for the team, a trait i wish more players possed these days in contemporary football

Feels like the Texiera deal is dead. It's gone quiet and we may have gone for Pato instead.

You would think the club would want to sign players who on their way up, not down. Not holding out much hope for Pato.

so while we are fcuking about with Pato, Liverpool have apparently flown to Shakhtar's training camp in USA to sort out a deal for Teixeira...the farce continues

Surely they will be met with the same answer as us that they're not selling in January.

Another "Douglas Costa" situation this guy has been dying to pull on the Blue of Chelsea for so long and we are dragging our feet we will end up regretting not signing him big time.

I was so certain that he would join us.

I can't remember who has said what on this thread, but it's interesting to see how earlier on many were saying he wasn't good enough and that he was playing in a crappy league, but now that Liverpool are after him we are fools to NOT sign him.

 

For what it's worth, I think he could be a pretty useful player.

His goal stats are certainly impressive.

Either we dont want to pay the money this month and only ever had plans to sign him in the summer, therefore Liverpool get a free run at him.

 

Or we jump in and sort it quick,  The guy has quite publicly stated he wants to be here

Exactly a lot of people said the same about Willian and Douglas Costa look at them now we need to sign this guy even if we loan him back until end of the season. This guy is just as good if not better than Willan.
