December 6, 201510 yr I just don't trust Jose with any money at the moment. How much have we wasted on players that have been sold or loaned out after about 6 months? It's embarrasing. Plus, anyone even remotely creative he just ships out, all he'll do is sign more players to run around aimlessly. Honestly I think Jose is our biggest problem here, the football he sets the team up to play is hampering them. With all my love and respect to him, but you're right.

The majority of his signings since he arrived have their future's in doubt or have already been sold. Schurrle, Salah, Eto'o, Schwarzer ( Well, he was always a stop gap to be fair ), Luis, Drogba, Thorgan Hazard, all gone soon after being signed. Some understandable, some i would have liked us to keep. Van Ginkel and Cuadrado out on loan and looking more and more like they have no future here. Remy and Costa, both of their futures are in doubt, and Falcao even for a season was always going to be a complete waste of time because he is finished. Pedro and Rahman, they haven't had the best of starts. That is too many failure's in my opinion. I just want a balanced squad with players that are going to stick around for more than a few years. Selling players like Mata, De Bruyne and Bertrand shouldn't have happened either. They should all still be Chelsea players playing every week.
December 6, 201510 yr To be fair to Mourinho Scott we are not entirely sure how many of them he actually signed.

December 7, 201510 yr After watching some Liverpool supporters react to Benteke's Poor performance yesterday wouldnt mind putting in a cheeky bid for him in Jan.
December 7, 201510 yr After watching some Liverpool supporters react to Benteke's Poor performance yesterday wouldnt mind putting in a cheeky bid for him in Jan. We missed out on him and he's exactly what we need, Hazard was even lobbying for a Benteke move. (something like: he's my best mate, I really hope he comes to Chelsea) Too bad the board didn't want to spend. Edited December 7, 201510 yr by jk88
December 7, 201510 yr After watching some Liverpool supporters react to Benteke's Poor performance yesterday wouldnt mind putting in a cheeky bid for him in Jan. Why ? he's just another striker that put's in a performance when he can be bothered. Another striker that doesn't put the effort in every single game.
December 7, 201510 yr Why ? he's just another striker that put's in a performance when he can be bothered. Another striker that doesn't put the effort in every single game. I always thought of Benteke as a level headed guy unless I am something amiss? The guy is a proven goal scorer in the league, makes goals out of nothing, should suit our style of play, will hopefully have a decent understanding with Hazard & most importantly provide some sort of aerial threat in the opposition box.
December 7, 201510 yr Why ? he's just another striker that put's in a performance when he can be bothered. Another striker that doesn't put the effort in every single game. two strikers in the Premier League who are currently going for it game after game: Vardy and Lukaku. Of course neither would come to us as they are much better off where they are - managed by managers who believe that scoring goals is the primary objective in a football match. Our manager prefers to put an emphasis on stopping goals being scored, although that's not working very well this season.

Our manager prefers to put an emphasis on stopping goals being scored, although that's not working very well this season. Not working THIS season. Its generally better for teams to not concede and go from there than try and race to 3 or 4 goals. Jose wants to limit his teams mistakes and capitalize on the mistakes other teams make. We arent doing either atm but its worked for him for 10 years pretty well. Teams havent suddenly figured out how to beat this tactic, they are just taking their chances and we arent. How many teams have had their 1 or 2 shots on goal go in for them this season?

He seem's to go through patches. Throughout his Aston Villa days he was up and down. He would play a few great games and then go on a run of not scoring.
December 9, 201510 yr I would take sturridge. I know he's an injury concern, and it would be a risk, but i reckon our med team could have him playing back at his best. He's still not in his prime as a player.
December 9, 201510 yr if we're looking at our former player, why not lukaku? skysports did a good job magnifying jose's mistake of not having faith in him..
December 9, 201510 yr Sturridge is just confirmed out with another injury and many Liverpool fans want him to be sold. I would try to get him. We have a better medical team then Liverpool and just give him the time he need to properly recover before he plays again. I think he is a fantastic striker. And a proven PL-goalscorer.
December 9, 201510 yr Sturridge was injured here plenty too remember. I doubt a new medical team would make much of a difference, the guy is made of crisps.
December 9, 201510 yr And he can't be bothered either. No thanks. Adebayor. Paulinho and Rooney. Can't believe what I'm reading here. Griezmann should be number one priority. Nainggolan and Stones to join him in a dream world. Realistically Texeira and Calleri will probably sign.

I think Nainggolan would be an excellent addition to our midfield. A player in the mould of De Jong, very combative and tireless with a sound football brain not just a runner. Though I would want to cut short Andreas loan from BMG and bring him in next season ahead of Stones. Personally, I would prefer Lacazette to both Teixeira or Calleri, Lyon haven't performed to last season's standard yet he's nicked in 10 goals, his value won't be inflated as last season if Lyon don't meet their objectives. He's a player similar to sturridge in style of play and I feel that's might be another dynamic upfront as to the target man style we prefer.
December 9, 201510 yr Lacazette would solve our problems instantly. Incredible striker. I love Griezmann. I like him in Messi's position more than striker though. He offers more there. Hazard and Griezmann either side of Lacazette with Willian behind would be a dream. Matic and Naingollan as the cover. Although Naingollan is very capable box to box
