But where would he play in out current setup? He's best in the number 10 role, and we dont play with that

Technically we do though because when in possession Hazard, Willian/Pedro are allow to come inside and wander.

Willian was a number 10 before he came to us, a number 10 has no trouble playing RF especially as we use wing backs our front 3 can play narrow, no problem with him playing slightly  more central, Pedro and haz both play through the Middle at times, no problem with the RF playing off the striker even, a RF is a number 10 2 yards to the right

A few rumblings today that we are in for him. I have very little faith in the media getting wind of transfers. Most of our transfers seem to come from nowhere. 

Not sure how he'd fit in.

Quite a few rumours today saying Chelsea are leading the race to sign James, yesterday there was reports saying he was going to sign for PSG, probably be linked with another team tomorrow.

They spend a lot of time out wide especially Pedro and Willian who bomb down the flanks. James doesn't do that

Yeah we are just the club of choice today, these stories change daily so no point reading anything significant into it.

Maybe defensively they stop wide, but they all have license to roam, you only have to look at where pedro picks the ball for the goal at everton as an example of the sort of areas they have license to get in. He isn't as fast as those 3, but he is far athletic than mata, and I think he would be a real asset, especially in games where teams drop so deep, there is no space for pedro hazard and Willian to exploit their pace. 

The papers just tend to cover all bases so they can say they got it right if he does move. Last week it he was linked with arsenal, the week before it was United, and he has been linked with Liverpool, psg, and bayern recently.

That's too much, given the fact that he was sparingly used this season and it is him who wants out (at least from I read).

For the same price, or £10 mil more we could get a player without questionable workrate and pace, Belotti...

Belotti is a striker. 

A player we should definitely be getting.

Correct. With Costa and Batshuayi most likely leaving the club this summer, thats what we need to throw our money at, or false 9s like Mertens and Sanchez.

James' best season at Monaco he was on the right wing most of the season. Reckon he'd fit well at that RW spot.

Costa will be replaced by Lukaku and i personally think we should keep Batshuayi. What is the point selling / loaning one £30+ million player and then bringing another one in who will have the same problems ? Keep Batshuayi i say, he will get much more game time next season.

I'm still hoping we don't buy Lukaku, because I want more movement and workrate in our attack. Selling Costa and Batshuayi to fund some of the transfer fee for Belotti + Sanchez/Mertens would be good business in my opinion.

Agree we should keep Batshuayi.  Thought he did well enough when he was put in, should only get better.

Would take him in a heartbeat. Magical left foot.
