March 23, 201610 yr He's nowhere near as despicable as Mourinho either though. which is very good. i was really tired of the drama we had earlier this season
March 23, 201610 yr which is very good. i was really tired of the drama we had earlier this season watch it unfold exactly the same way with Conte, his english isn't up to standard so we may be obliviouse to in the beggining but as if you think he will be any less contraversial then im afraid your going to be disapointed

March 24, 201610 yr Hi guys, leicester fan from australia here in peace! Me and my old man have just booked flights back from australia for the last two games- with the hope that the miracle may, may happen. What a story it could be. The 3am games for the last couple of years would be so worth it.... Anyway, i think we have everton tickets.... obviously we are at the bridge on the final day. We need tickets, as a matter of urgency :) impossible in the foxes end sadly. If any of you guys would be willing to sort us out in the home end you would be greatly rewarded. Please email me on [email protected] with any availabilities!!! Better us than spurs and arsenal hey! :)
March 25, 201610 yr Gary Stalker pictured at the game tonight... I wonder why? Staker* It does seem odd he is there, surely the player liaison officer would not be involved in the selection of a manager Edited March 25, 201610 yr by kiwi1691
March 25, 201610 yr I have not watched italian football since the channel 4 days is he any good? Poor man's Mourinho. Though he bettered Mourinho's Inter record (in terms of the win loss %) with his Juve side and then some. Edited March 25, 201610 yr by Orpington_Blue
March 25, 201610 yr Staker* It does seem odd he is there, surely the player liaison officer would not be involved in the selection of a manager Speaks fluent Italian though, so maybe he will be translating a bit until conte and his team are more confident in there English.
March 25, 201610 yr Good article from WAGNH: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2016/3/25/11303382/antonio-conte-big-interview-vidal-transfer-rumors
March 25, 201610 yr Good article from WAGNH: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2016/3/25/11303382/antonio-conte-big-interview-vidal-transfer-rumors It I had posted just the quotes, and left out stuff like vidals name, we could call it unnamed player, you would be forgiven for thinking it was a Jose interview. I like the idea of content because I like these kind of managers, people in general. Others who are hoping for calender waters, get your life jackets on
March 25, 201610 yr Could be very exciting as long as he isn't stubborn and willing to do things that Jose weren't (I.e give youth a chance and change tactics/formations etc..) I for one, am looking forward to a possible 352 formation with Willian and Cuadrado playing wingbacks. and a 3 CB partnership of Zouma, Christensen and Cahill (or another CB if we make signings)

I for one, am looking forward to a possible 352 formation with Willian and Cuadrado playing wingbacks. and a 3 CB partnership of Zouma, Christensen and Cahill (or another CB if we make signings) I believe his reputation is partly based on being a manager who is quite willing to adapt his formations dependant on the players he already has and the style of play he is trying to implement, of everything ive read about conte it seems to me like he is similar to the way mourinho was at porto and first time round with us, only abit less spikey, the not forcing square pegs in round holes is what pricks my interest with him as it would to me signify that we will be playing a different formation next year as we dont even have the players currently to play 4231 convincingly imho, so id not be surprised to see him go 433 or something different altogether but id be very surprised at lining up first game of the season in 4231.

March 27, 201610 yr If conte is going to be our next manager, then I expect he will be looking to sign a shed load of serie a players. I am fearfull of how it's going to go, because the premier league is very different to serie a. IMO.......a lot of fans will be extremely disappointed if conte ignores our home grown youth players without even giving them a chance by signing average Italian league players.
March 27, 201610 yr Following on from your point Maidstone Blue is that Juve aside in the CL, the Italian league and it's players are hardly pulling up trees. Of course some of these players would be good to get, such as Bonucci, but wholesale recruits from Serie A is not the answer in my opinion.
March 27, 201610 yr If hypothetically Italy are dire at Euro 2016, how do you think that would that affect Chelsea fans? Would it affect the board? Edited March 27, 201610 yr by offside
March 28, 201610 yr At first was hoping for simeone but have to admit, im really looking forward to conte coming in and seeing what he can do,few ins and outs, will be refreshing
March 28, 201610 yr I saw some things on Twitter yesterday, that seemingly AC Milan are looking to snatch Conte from under the noses of Chelsea. The reason: Conte wants to take 5 backroom staff with him, and Chelsea think that's too big an overhaul.

March 29, 201610 yr Conte is quite arrogant too isn't he? I would absolutely love him to come here and throw sentiment out the window and have a huge clear out. Matic would generate a lot of money based on reputation. 15m+ Oscar would also generate a good return 20m+ Cahill is English and plays for the national team. 10+ Remy and a lot of loanees can go too. Let Conte bring in his own squad and his own back room staff and start from the beginning. A new era. Edited March 29, 201610 yr by MayosNoun
March 29, 201610 yr Maybe a swoop for Veratti? Conte certainly likes him. http://www.football-italia.net/79584/conte-‘italy-need-verratti-leadership’
