Ironic, a manager who makes substitutions too late to save the game, is sacked too late to save the season.

Oddly, if this was our form earlier in the season with plenty of games left to claw top 4 back, i could see him being sacked.  Now it's at the point where in theory it is too late to claw them back, he will survive.  May aswell let him see it out

Sham I hoped it was true, if he showed  the passion he did last season even though we are in the position we are, I would be all for him to stay. 

I mean it's not true but it's definitely inevitable.  Only hanging on to save some pennies at this point.  If he were more concerned with the progress of the club and less enthralled with his own self-worth I would want him to stay.  I loved him last year.

The man took a team from 10th to 1st and won the league.

Then he makes it clear to the board they would need to strengthen to win the league again and have a shot at CL. They ignore him and he ends up being right.

His reward for that is being fired?

I don't buy your argument, Horns of Hattin.    He did everything possible to screw up the season by playing players like Bakayoko who should have been shunted off to the reserves after a few games when it was clear they were terrible, and his negative attitude has clearly hurt the team who have lost any interest in playing for him any more.

Just because he has said certain things to the media that doesn't mean his attitude with the team has been poor. You can see clearly that he is engaged with the team on the sidelines and as energetic as ever and shows plenty of emotion throughout the match whether in positive or negative situations arise. 

What choice exactly did Conte have other than to play Bakayoko after the club spend 40 mil on him and sold off Matic to our rivals? Fabregas is a solid passer as we know but he doesn't solidify our midfield and we get overrun by quality sides. 

Conte had to give Bakayoko a run of games to get used to the EPL and come good. It didn't happen so he went with Fabregas as that was his ONLY option. Unless you consider Drinkwater as an option against City, Barca and Spurs?

Sorry but Conte told the club what he needed and when they didn't step up he told the truth. Which was that Chelsea board through inaction have effectively decided to be a top 6 club not a top 2 club, and certainly not a CL contender.

But Chelsea fans will continue to bury their heads in the sand and support the firing of yet another top manager. Were you also supportive of Ancelotti and Mourinho OUT campaigns?

No his reward for not motivating and downplaying the players at his disposal, The lack of game changing substitutions, No plan B, The record losses this season plus being the first Premier League Chelsea manager to lose at home to Spurs after twenty six years, Three wins in 2018, Making Wenger look like a tactical genius, The constant playing the victim card in the media and his lack of loyalty to anyone at the club and his obvious desire to leave is being fired.

Are you being serious? He has spent the last 6 months stood on the sidelines with his hands in his pockets, looking like a man who's deep in thought about what to have for dinner when he gets home. 

You could have replaced him with a cardboard cut out and nobody would have been the wiser. 

When the chips are down, what do you want your manager to do at full time? Show leadership? Rally the troops? Take responsibility? Conte is the first man down the tunnel on his own, without even giving the players of fans a second glance. Pathetic. 

As for the rest of your post, I find it equally bemusing. Conte may not have got all his first choice targets, but a good manager works with what they have got, motivates players and fights with all they have. Our squad is currently underachieving, however you try and dress it up.... and that is down to the manager. 

In the entire league, only City have spent more money than us since Conte arrived. Conte publicly fell out with Costa, and the board backed him and spent £75M to bring in Conte's man. He is not exactly the Premiership Managerial equivalent of Oliver Twist.

They didn't need to in order to fulfill their goals. It's all relative - is there a meltdown at whiteheart lane when they finish top 6 NO. Because it's not in their mandate that they must finish top 2 or 4.

That being said they still did buy players to reinforce what was already a young and very talented team. 

Kane, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Loris, Vertonghen, Aldeirwereld are all top of the league. While Wanyama, Seun, Sanchez, Rose are all top notch supporting players.

So Tottenham already had a stronger team than Chelsea especially relative to their ambition.

PLAN B? Who exactly is plan B on Chlelsea bench? Please tell me who you are brining on to flip a game?

He had every right to explain to the fans that he wasn't backed, his squad is small and will have difficulty competing with a much larger schedule.

Jol got sacked after two near misses, AVB and Sherwood were sacked after narrowly missing out, infact Redknapp was sacked espite achieving it. It's funny you mention Rose and Son, because they were very flawed players that have been coached properly instead of having their manager whinge about how sh*t they.
