April 15, 201610 yr Just pride to play for now.I hope to see an improvement on the Swansea game.....UP THE CHELS!
April 15, 201610 yr Good opportunity for RLC to show he can do it against the big boys. Assuming Uncle Guus has the bottle to select him?
April 15, 201610 yr Would love to see Loftus-Cheek start this match. There's never been a better time to see what he's made of. Edited April 15, 201610 yr by Jezz
April 15, 201610 yr Is Hazard ready? Terry, Hazard and Remy are still out. Hazard's been only training with the group for a couple of days. Willian, Cahill and Matic are back from injury and available. Costa is also back from suspension.
April 15, 201610 yr --------------------Tibo------------------------ --Azpi---Ivanovic---Cahill---Baba--------- --------Matic/Mikel----Fabregas----------- --Willian-------RLC---------Pedro---------- ----------------Costa-------------------------- 2-1 Chelsea.
April 15, 201610 yr With injured players and no choice of striker the side picks itself unless Guus picks a couple of the youth.
April 15, 201610 yr Hiddink press conference v Man City http://brightcove04.brightcove.com/34/4221396001/201604/1361/4221396001_4847322963001_IVRC1460727219356I-mp4-pa-mp4-w-1.mp4?pubId=4221396001&videoId=4847219544001
April 15, 201610 yr Good opportunity for RLC to show he can do it against the big boys. Assuming Uncle Guus has the bottle to select him? Will really really really be pissed off with guus if RLC is benched for this match,he deserves to be in on merit the last couple of games, would be a big hit in confidemce if he isnt rewarded
April 16, 201610 yr I don't think we will play as much youth against city, RLC to start though and hopefully Willian back
April 16, 201610 yr Thing is, if we beat City..United will only be a point behind them. Much rather City get CL than United
April 16, 201610 yr I don't really know how our players are motivated, but Man City are not planning to win the PL anymore this season, we have a good chance to take points from them. Of course that we need to play more youth. COME ON CHELS!
April 16, 201610 yr It feels so weird that this game is basically meaningless. It's been such a vital fixture in recent years and now of course City can't win the league and we're just marking time until Conte arrives. Hard to predict but I can see a low scoring draw or maybe a 2-1 win for City who have slightly more to play for.
April 16, 201610 yr With man city thinking of their next round in europe ( haha and goodbye) this will be a bore draw
April 16, 201610 yr Still need to try and win games and this is a difficult one, so I would hold back on throwing youngsters in for this one. Terry and Hazard are out so Cahill and Ivan CB for me, Azpi and Baba fullbacks. Strongest possible starts, the more wins we can scrape together then the chance of Europa still has some hope. City have a f**king horrendous record at the Bridge, think they've only won 1 in last 17 visits. I am hoping they sing something like "Beat PSG, you'll never do that" and we reply with "Demba Ba, he says that we have"
April 16, 201610 yr We seem to be on our summer holidays now so if city turn up they win, if not game goes to a draw.
April 16, 201610 yr Good selection from Hiddink: Courtois, Azpi, Ivanovic, Cahill, Baba, Mikel, Fabregas, RLC, Willian, Pedro, Costa. Edited April 16, 201610 yr by bluelion111
April 16, 201610 yr Are we playing 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1? Fabregas playing deep alongside mikel only works against teams who sit back otherwise mikel is left to fill both positions in a 4-2-3-1
