When you have torres on your team, who is a player who do not know how to score goals and then comes a player who does he must be a striker.

Think it's safe to say that the lad is more than ready to play at a higher level than he currently is.

Signed a five year contract. Wouldn't mind seeing him getting some first team football this year, he probably won't though.

I notice he's listed in the 1st team squad with a shirt number now.

He's a real talent in my opinion, I don't really watch him being a United fan an' all but from what I have seen, he is very good.

I wonder if he will get a start tonight?

Because of the depth in the squad, I doubt it.  Surely he is quality enough to play, though. Hope to see him.

Lewis Baker came on as a substitute in MK Dons' 2-1 defeat to Coventry City on Saturday, and he'll have no doubt learned some lessons about the club he has just joined.

1) League One will be a much more physical style of play than Baker is probably used to. He's scored a hatful of goals for the Chelsea U21 side, but he is now playing in a less technical, more physical standard of football, and Baker will probably have to take a hit or two in the next few games he plays in.

2) MK Dons like to play a passing style of football which is more akin to Premier League football, and this style should suit Baker down to the ground.

3) Baker is in a team of passionate players who will voice their opinion if they believe something is wrong, and if he does anything wrong, his teammates will be sure to tell him.

 

4) MK Dons are big fans of giving youth a chance, so Baker will be fully aware that he has a great opportunity to improve his development, as Dons have worked wonders for the likes of Patrick Bamford and Benik Afobe.

5) Lewis Baker will know that his place in the team isn't guaranteed despite Dele Alli's injury, with Samir Carruthers and Keith Andrews also waiting in the wings to partner Darren Potter in the Dons midfield.

Lewis Baker scored a stunning 25-yard goal to give the men from MK1 the lead at half-time, but the Spireites hit back with goals from Gary Roberts and Caolan Lavery either side of a Dean Lewington sending off.

Lewis Baker made his first start in place of Samir Carruthers, while George Williams and Will Grigg came into the starting XI for Carl Baker and Devante Cole.

I saw on BBC they had two bakers playing for them and that two Bakers had scored! They could at least use initials to help us!
