If we sign him surely that's the end for Bats? Can't see him wanting to play under Lukaku for his club as well as his country.

We paid for him the first time don't forget that 10 plus another 10 in add ons and the way they are talking we are "hoping" to pay 80 and Everton want 100, but I'd say we will pay 70 million, cut out the 20 we paid, from the 28 we sold him for and you have a cool 62 mil net loss for a player that isn't better than costa 

I reckon it probably is us, if so I will get fully behind him.

We paid 12 initially. we didn't end up pay anything more. We also received loan fees from West Brom and everton. So it would be spot closer to £50m in the end. 

Tbh it doesn't matter what price we end up paying him. We will still get plenty of stick in the media and from opposition fans. If Lukaku does the business then all talk of price tags are quickly forgotten. 

One thing is for sure, he needs to get in the goals early, the knives are already out. 

It will be nice to have a player that wants to become a legend here, Hopefully for all connected to the club, he is a massive hit.

Well if we do sign him up I hope it's because Conte wanted him back and not another one of Emenalo o's "f*** what the coach wants  , if it's Conte's choice then I trust him.

I really think it would be terrible business as he's really unpolished and will struggle with his back against the goal and his touch of a rapist and I think for the price tag there's better options out there that will suit us better, Lukaku won't be able to get threw those tight spaces that will show up against us.

I wouldn't pay anything over 50m for him , he would be better at Liverpool etc just would not fit our style of play but let's see, I might have to start praying that he doesn't come back...

We know he can score goals did it at westbrom then Everton so he isn't ideal but if we are getting him as much as I don't like it conte will not treat him as a complete striker but a goal machine, if he can score 25 goals with that shower of piss round him he could do 30 with players like hazard round him we scored 85 to Everton's 62 surely we could get him on the end of some balls, just need to bring in another top forward to compensate for his dodgems first touch 

If he does sign i cant see us keeping costa, whilst I am sure it would be a scary front 2 for defeders to face, it isn't balanced enough to win the league and I can't see either happy on the bench.

Of course it's us. I'm in two minds whether I actually want him here. We know he can score goals and has improved loads since we had him last time- he'll probably replace Costa 

Happy if we sign him. Proven and consistent goalscorer in this team is good enough for me. 

He's the only reason Everton is considered a half decent side and scoring 25 times for them in the league is a great achievement. Wouldn't mind it if we offloaded Costa and got Morata as well though. Reckon he and Lukaku could form a nasty partnership.

Why?

Would prefer Morata but Rom is looking quite likely right now which isn't exactly a bad thing, he's a ridiculously good striker who will only get better

 

Also, he's someone who genuinely loves the club and is desperate to be here.

And he called emanalo papito...seriously it doesn't go like that though but conte is head Coach not manager that's a marker by the club that they take the lead on purchases, technically per his role he has no say, in reality he gives them a list but the decision is with the club, there are club players and manager players almost everywhere just not with us, a manager like fergie wouldn't get a player he didn't want, others even Jose get landed with players, like you actually think he bought Papi? I assume if conte renegotiated his contract he will ask for more influence in choosing players, for now it's a club decision by the letter of their arrangement so what he said was perfectly legitimate, is he a player conte wanted, good question? 

United bidding for Morata surely confirms the club he is going to is us. Like another poster said, people need to start getting behind him if he does move to us. The amount of harsh criticism he gets is unbelievable. The things he has done at his age in incredible and is still improving. Like Luiz, hope this is another transfer by come end of next season or even during it, people are going to have to eat humble pie and admit they were wrong about him.
