I've always liked Jose, even after he slid on his knees when Porto beat us all those years ago. He should have joined us after Fergie left. By the time he arrived, control over team matters had passed to Woodward and those two were always going to clash. Jose has forgotten more about football than Woodward will ever know.

I don't think he'll last. Personally, I think they should have got Poch at the end of last season and found Ole a job maybe as his number 2 or with the youth.

It disappoints me greatly he joined those clubs, but I find it very difficult to hate him.

Just a lovely 7 minute rant [emoji3]. I remember being hurt after that result. After all, those years you have to appreciate a good rant by Jose.

He's a character.
He marked a revolution in football.
Achieved incredible feats.

But he died for football when he bit into the apple of sin, when he was seduced by the temptation to go to Real Madrid to fight Guardiola's Barcelona, he destroyed himself there and died for football.

His passion died, the wear and tear was tremendous, his image was destroyed.
Since then, he has only been accumulating severance payments and helping his friend Mendes' laundry all over the place.

A sad end to a story that started so well.

It is a shame to see him loose his charisma. He hasn’t got the same bounce or energy 

Would be nice to see him get one final big win before ascending to footballing Valhalla (obviously NOT with Tottenham under any circumstances). Maybe another Champions League with an unfancied team or a maiden World Cup for Portugal?

As I said in another thread, managing AFC Chelsea in tier 8.

But honestly I think the Portuguese national team is probably the answer. In the end I don't think he needs to go anywhere. He could literally pick any project he wanted to now that the big teams are beyond him. Look at Ancelotti, won everything and is now managing Everton.

If I was him I'd simply retire. He has nothing to prove to anyone and he certainly doesn't need the money !

Surely he’ll go International now instead of whoring himself to another Prem club, it’s getting embarrassing. Not only that, he’s just not any good anymore. His ego and attention seeking has overtaken his abilities.

Exactly. Being head coach of a country would be the obvious route. 

Mourinho won't retire, his ego won't allow it. He will have his eyes on the Super League..........Arsenal will be his next job 😆

He's still relatively young, he probably doesn't fancy sitting at home and hope for the odd evening of punditry. I would guess he's not in it for the money anymore.
