Obviously the loan choice was perfect for both parties. Chelsea didn't trust him to start and BVB needed a striker. I'm sure we are all hopeing he works out.

Yep. Think we All want him to do well as he seems a decent lad but we have to be honest, at times he has looked way out of his depth. Shame this has come just after better performances but lets not pretend he has suddenly become a world-beater.

Really do home he does well in Germany and we get him back in a year the finished article.

Nobody on here has said anything close to that Nibs.

The majority think he hasn't been given anywhere near enough time in the team, and i agree, considering the injuries to our #1 forward Michy should have had more game time. We were all shocked when Conte didn't turn to Michy when Alvaro's out. Leaving him on the bench and picking players like Pedro ahead of him and going a false #9, i'm sure that's not going to help him.

I agree, I wanted him to play more too. There were times when Morata wan't performing and Bats did get a game but was equally poor so when you witness some of the performances where he has looked frankly useless, it's easy to understand Conte's thinking.

As I say, if he goes away and learns and improves we will get back a much more useful striker.

Have you ever stopped to think why he didn't get more minutes and opportunities instead of just blindly stating that he should?

It's telling that the coach who sees the players every day would rather play without a recognised striker than start Batshuayi.

I'd be pretty sure that if the squad remained unchanged and Morata was injured and you asked every Chelsea fan for their lineup against Barca, about 90% wouldn't include him either.

He's not a good enough footballer right now. I said before the season started he needed to go on loan, he/we've just wasted another 6 months.

I want the player who has scored the most goals with both their feet this season for the club. The player with the best minutes per goal ratio. The player that stays on his feet and is honest.

Michy becoming the starting striker for Dortmund will hopefully be a great turnaround, and if he performs well there then I'll happily take him back at the end of the loan

I'd be surprised is Batshayui follows in Luakaku/KDB/Salah's footsteps. I don't think he's going to be that good.

Good for him that he's got a goal already. I thought it was pretty obvious he wasn't ready to be our lone striker, but I do find it very strange we loaned out someone who has proven he knows how to find the net.

He knows that the coach has faith in him, he has got his spot and now he will pay back by scoring goals. Scored one already, second was disallowed due to offside. 

I'm happy for him that he started in that way, can't wait for more.

You wont see Alvaro wrap his left foot around a shot like that.
