What a brilliant afternoon, best performance I've seen for a couple of years now. Conte, your the man!

I'm interested to know what Jose said to Conte at the end.

And that defeat 17 years ago happened to be against us as well.

I love the fact that we're their bogey team.

If we can keep this intensity up we can become a force and be feared again in this league.  This was a brilliant performance in every position even with some superstars on the bench. Utd looked surprisingly lost all over the pitch...if this form continues I think Jose will be gone by the new year.  Utd, Real and Barca carry a heavy weight on the shoulders of their managers, 2 out of the 3 have world class players, Utd only have one or two and will always be second best no matter who is in charge.

The players!

Courtois: Actually starting to make saves! Clean sheets. Yes please. Flawless game.

Cahill: Looks like a defender again. Having two centre backs with him hides his flaws, and he's able to do his job.

Luiz: Love the guy. Should have been sent off, but his defending was sensational.

Azpilicueta: Since the formation was introduced, he's been absolutely imperious in defence. My pick of the three in each game.

Moses: Wow....never saw it coming. He's a real trooper at wingback. Never stops running. Real team player.

Kante: What's not to love. Only one bad game for us against Arsenal. He's just a machine, and his goal today...the biggest smile enducer of them all.

Matic: He's got it again. His coverage is superb, his passing in attacking areas much improved. This is the Matic we loved.

Alonso: Not getting as much attacking time, because Hazard always ends up with the ball on the left, but his defending has been really solid. Tall, strong...really encouraging.

Pedro: His first half was superb. His hustle caught United off guard with the goal, and several occasions thereafter. This formation looks to suit him.

Hazard: How can you not love him. Abysmal last season, but his talent indisputable. His dribbling is delightful. His vision in this game was amazing.

Costa: Whether he scores or not, Costa gives it all. He will occupy defenders, terrifying them at times. When he's not losing his mind on the pitch, he's a striker you would want forever.

I'm in such a good mood right now. 3am, Monday morning, and with an enormous natural high. Going to struggle to sleep after this.

The boys played like I prayed they would, with passion, fight and determination. Every player played his part. Top four now. This system seems to be working and Mourinho, as I suspected years ago is a spent force. His time at Real Madrid slaughtered him and he had the luxury of his first season back at Chelsea with managing the best side in the premiership, by a long chalk.. THE KING IS DEAD, LONG LIVE CONTE.

Third clean sheet in a row and they say our defence is bad!

I know right? who would have thought the issue was not enough cb's in the back :P Conte's 3-4-3 is simply revolutionary

I think more likely he was upset at Conte's celebrations (which would be so hypocritical given some of his celebrations for us), and when he was urging the crowd to get chant more at the end -- Mourinho turned his back. Again, clearly bitter and it was definetly not positive. Wish Conte would tell us what he said, but I am sure he won't as he is too classy for that.

What a win. Hazard really turning up now. The 3-4-3 helps him hugely. Moses a real unsung here. Another fanatstic performance from him and Kante is slowly getting better and better in a Chelsea shirt. You can see the amount of qualities he has and he has more license to attack in our team which is expressing all his qualities. Only disappointment is Costa not getting a yellow as a suspension against West Ham would of been ideal but oh well. Brilliant win. 3 clean sheets in a row.

And glad we silenced the SS pundits who were suggesting we were getting weak in big games. Today proved them wrong. We were dominant. Looks like this 3-4-3 is working a treat. Getting the best out of all players and the defence does not look leaky at all any more. Big improvements from Luiz and Cahill since the system change.

And appreciate what Mourinho has done, but his actions after the game showed what a sour loser he still is so glad he got embarrassed on his return here.

Brilliant performance!

Every player was great today.

I haven't been Matic's greatest fan but today he was a monster.

Great day to be a Chelsea fan!
