Costa, he was outstanding in the second half. Fantastic skill for the goal.

Luiz, a fantastic all around display of defence and leadership.

HM for Costa, sublime touch for his goal, then absolutely twatted Gundogan to set up Hazard. He didn't really show up until the second half but once he did the game totally changed.

Could mount a case for several players, but I've gone with Hazard.

No disrespect to Courtois, Costa and Luiz who were also outstanding.

Luiz for me, he was great. 

Me too.  Solid, level headed, strong.

Luiz for me, he wss in sense all day and I'll argue with anyone til I'm blue in the face that the so called foil on Aguero wasn't a foul at all. If that's a foul at all then I think football has gone soft.

I agree that Costa was superb and just as deserving but I hate that Sky always go predictable giving it to the goal scorer. They're always over looking the defensive aspects of the game and for me Luiz was the stand out man on the pitch.

Costa and Luiz the stands out for me as well. I gave it to Costa mainly because that I believe Luiz got a bit lucky on that challenge on Aguero - I think Aguero made the most of it, but on another day and another ref that could have been a red.

I voted for DC because of his Goal & his assist, but there are several CFC players that can take a bow - to score 4 goals away at City is beyond belief

I went for luiz because he was awesome for 90 mins, he barely put a foot wrong.

Costa won the game though, still had a lot to do from fabregas's excellent ball, and then he took the game by the scruff of the neck and city couldnt get near him. it was Drogbaesque for half an hour in that second half. This is definitely the best form of his career.

I went Costa because he more than other player turned the game. Hazard was probably the best over the full 90 and as others have said Luiz great game. Tibo did well when required. Was glad to see Willian come on and thought he added some pace second half.

some of Kante passing poor today, a bit like having Ramires back. Thought Alonso, Pedro and Cahill all had their weaknessses exposed and to me are the potential positions for upgrade if we want become completely fearsome.

Not our best day defensively but we got away with it. Always nice to see a good bonded team. I'll pick Diego as he gave us belief. We've got leaders again: Luiz, Courtois, Azpi, and, yes, Gary Cahill.

I refuse to sit by and let anyone say Alonso is better than Baba.. He is championship standard at MOST.   Appalling defensive ability.  Think the defense still needs work, Cahill won't cut it in the CL if we make it.

Everyone rates Gary Neville, well he finally said something along the lines of "Alonso has totally abandoned his defensive duties this half".  I think if Gary watches us a few more times, he'll put Alberto Moreno ahead of him in terms of PL LB's.  I'm sure of it.

He's been anything but unpredictable since he came back here. In fact i'd call him Mr Predictable, he's becoming so predictably solid in defence in that sweeper role. 

Went for Luiz kept Aguero at bay all game long, and the dirty c**t tried to injure him on purpose. Costa probably deserves it more, but he spoiled us with his amazing season, he scores he assists best striker in the league by far.
