Yes, good thing I'm in NJ for the summer... Would have been pissed off beyond belief if I was in AZ and had to wake up at 4:15 am

Was at the game tonight in Singapore. Looked like we were struggling to create anything meaningful in the first half. Willian looked to be the only one with a bit of trickery and that might beat a man. 

 

Second half was was a bit better I thought Dave was always an option on the right even when he switched to the wing. Musonda done well when he came on I thought, got into some decent positions. For me batman just doesn't look up to the level we need him to be at, worked hard but had nothing left then to make meaningful runs. 

Sounds like trash officials, not much creativity, Morata on the wing, the f**k is that all about? Clearly doesn't work, I'm a fan of Cahill, but he should be dropped, if he's poor, if he's not going to be challenged, then thats ridiculous. Hopefully we can add a couple more players, we obviously need them, preferably wing backs, I hope we play with much more intensity next weekend, I'm sure we will.

I personally enjoyed every single play being broken up by that magnificent referee. I think maybe we should poach him for the EPL! Hardly put a foot wrong!

not sure if you saw this at the match, but the goal that was taken away from Batman should have counted - he was level with the Inter Defenders when he received the ball in the Inter PK area

 

Overall we were the better team I thought, glad to see Musonda get some game time. I think it showed everybody the massive flaws in our team both in midfield and our lack of fullbacks. As soon as Alonso went off everything got shuffled around and looked like a massive cluster.

I used to suffer that my missus is Canadian 12:45 kick offs are horrible, and can't get that CL atmosphere at 3:00 in the afternoon.

f**king idiot linesman on the right flagging when it was their right back on the other side keeping him on why didn't the linesman on that side have his say one is assigned to each attacking side but ffs if you're not sure confer

The same thing when Inter won that PK - GC asked the Center Judge to consult w/ the 4th official to make sure there was a foul - that fool didn't even consider it - check it out again

Didn't have much time on the pitch to really assess tbh, he had no defending to do but his passing was tidy. For me perhaps enough to suggest he *could* be a capable backup for Alonso until Baba is fit again?

Officiating was amatuerish at best. The calls were beyond ridiculous. This has been true for the ICC in North America and  Asia. I am sure it would be the same if played on the moon.

Do not get me wrong, we were poor first half. Morata on the wing was laughable. Hope he is the lone striker next Sunday.

We missed Hazard, Pedro and Matic badly, though I realize it will not be Matic when the year starts. Alonso was wretched. Slow and lazy. I did feel David Luiz played well.

Need some midfield help and LWB and RWB depth.

Hopefully some people will remember how bad these officials have been, when we get the occasional bad call against us in the league this year. We could have it much much worse.

I appreciate that the financial gains are ALL in these pre-seasons in far flung parts of the world (relative to Stamford Bridge) but just look at that pitch! It's horrific. The council parks used for Sunday league put the pitches of China and Singapore to shame. It's just quite amazing that the cash gains clearly outweigh the footballing gains of playing on good pitches in a reasonable climate. I'd even add the ill effects of long distance travel and body clock disruption, but perhaps they travel in such luxury that this element isn't so bad.

A lot of the pitches are like it. The Chinese league have a lot of bad pitches. Lots of sand in them. Hot weather and then torrential rain is common.
