Here is the list of players Conte or the club wanted and we missed out on.

Walker, Danilo, Barkley, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukaku, Llorente. I wouldn't be surprised if it's more either. A club of our stature being rejected by SIX players in one window is really poor. If this happened to any other club we would be laughing our ass's off.

Yeah, I know. But I understand that Llorente wanted to play for Conte again.  

 

If that's the case he could've waited and turned them down.  Oh well.

Yeah but we can still have a dig at the top 6 too. Utd didn't get their beloved Griezmann, City didn't get Evans, Arsenal is Arsenal and Liverpool got Ox and didn't get VVD and Lemar

I feel pretty bad for Conte. I really hope and pray that he stays for a long, long time and that he's still with us in January, so the board can actually apologies for a massive f**k up and give him what he wants. 

 

The whole Costa saga has been a nightmare and the board selling Matic.
