March 25, 20197 yr Fun fact: If Callum plays all 90 minutes today he will have played more minutes for England in actual competitive fixtures within 4 days than he has played for Chelsea in the BPL in a season that's over 3/4's finished. ....actually, that fact wasn't fun at all..... March 25, 20197 yr Instead of everyone saying he should leave Chelsea, finally a piece about why he should stay: why-callum-hudson-odoi-s-england-call-up-proves-he-should-stay-at-chelsea-despite-lack-of-game-time

Well i could go with Europa minutes and how he's been absolutely banging in the goals there compared to the people keeping him out of the team in the BPL, but my issue is the absolute lack of BPL minutes despite no one ahead of him deserving their places on form.

March 25, 20197 yr Everyone on social media is having a field day comparing his Premier League starts with his England starts. Coincidentally ignoring his starts in the Europa which is a European competition and should really be classed as a higher level.

We haven’t played a team anywhere near PL standard yet.
March 25, 20197 yr Maybe we're seeing why Sarri isn't playing him so much, he's all over the place defensively and is causing England big problems.
March 25, 20197 yr Maybe we're seeing why Sarri isn't playing him so much, he's all over the place defensively and is causing England big problems. This is what Sarri sees in training and tries to communicate to the press and fans that he's great attacking but defensively he's a liability but he's improving so give him time dont rush him
March 25, 20197 yr People don't like Sarri so use CHO not playing as a stick to beat him with. He is young and raw and has shown that in the PL and is showing it now.
March 25, 20197 yr Alternatively young players learn more in matches were they are asked questions. Playing is the only way you improve, were actions have consequences. Fair play to Southgate for giving him the chance, the England manager job carries as much pressure and expectations as ours.
March 25, 20197 yr Seeing the balls he’s getting in to the box tonight and thinking if only he could put them Higuains way is annoying mind. We can only carry one player without little to no defensive responsibility though and that’s rightly Eden.
March 25, 20197 yr And that is why he plays. Let our defenders worry about defending. Barkley is playing well again too. Good delivery from set pieces.
March 25, 20197 yr He's been brilliant for England so far tonight, the best player going forward right now.

Got an assist already; he is the only direct player we have & no excuses for not playing him now. Liverpool & City have that in abundance, that is why they are high up the table.
March 25, 20197 yr It's a joy to watch this lad express himself tonight on the international stage. I have a feeling he will be national news tomorrow. Sarri is looking more stupid by the minute here. Second youngest player for England behind Rooney. We have a very special talent on our hands. Edited March 25, 20197 yr by Nickcook26

Europa league classes higher than the Premier league, are you having a laugh? CHO should have started every single game, the teams we have played so far would be lucky to be playing in the championship.

I'm not seeing Sterling offer much defensively, but nobody seems to care about that. How about Walker and Rose? They actually are defenders but the pair of them have been out of position all night. Hudson-Odoi needs games to learn, he isn't going to learn sitting on the bench every game.
