Bayern gets in the poker for Callum Hudson-Odoi (18) more competition. Ironically, the Liverpool FC, the opponents of the Munich Champions League in the final, has dared after SPORT BILD information a thrust at the jewel of Chelsea.

There has even been a meeting at the beginning of January. In addition to brother and advisor Bradley even Callum Hudson-Odoi even at the meeting with the Liverpool representative sitting at the table. With Reds coach Jürgen Klopp (51) occurs in advertising for Hudson-Odoi so another financially strong counterparty against Bayern . Even a Bundesliga side made for the winter transfer window hope for a change of the wing player. As with Liverpool, the Hudson-Odoi family also heard an offer from RB Leipzig.

Under contract, the player is until 2020 at Chelsea FC. His employer still leaves no stone unturned to keep the talent in London. In addition to a salary increase offered, the young Englishman got on Saturday again in the 0-2 defeat against Arsenal ten minutes of play by coach Maurizio Sarri (60).

Sounds to me the price of fish is expensive.

Interesting. I never saw you as a flat earth theory believer.

Haha fair enough. I did think twice, but it reads worse than I originally thought.

Funny thing to be a Chelsea fan.  We piss and moan at the senior players who too often show little to no desire to play on the pitch while at the same time telling our perhaps most promising ever attacking youth product "don't let the door hit you" because he desperately wants to play.

I'd get the attitude toward CHO is the move was about money or if he was actually getting time, but it's because he knows he deserves far more play time than he is getting and he does considering the context.  I mean was anyone telling Fabregas to f**k off because he wanted more playing time?

...and I hope people realize that absolutely anyone in CHO's position, with CHO's talent who has any confidence at all in themselves or abilities would push to move to another club where they might actually get to play. Like you'd have to be really lazy & mentally weak to be content to sit on the bench and watch rubbish performances keep you out of the team even when your last (and one of the very few ever) performance was MOTM material. The player happy to do that is never going to win you titles or even games.   Those are the ones we need shot of, not the ones with amazing potential and a strong desire to play.

Simon Johnson from the standard has said his colleague in Liverpool says it's untrue they have held talks with H-Odoi. Seems German journalists are making stuff up.

You can’t really blame him for wanting to leave can you ?

Honestly yes I can, how many of that W/C England squad are first choice picks for their respective clubs, yes he is a great talent, yes he could be one of the best we have ever produced but he has just turned 18. If you are at a top 6 club in the Prem you have to play your way in, he is making a great case for himself when he is getting time. But (and this is if the rumours are true) to be angling to leave despite getting into the first team squad then it is either a) petulant or b) very bad advise.

I hope he gets more game time and I think he shows more potential that Pedro or Willian however from a managers point of view to automatically pick a fairly untested 18 year old over 2 proven prem level players would be churlish. Imagine the sh*t you would get if he didnt perform or as in a couple of his appearances looked a bit stage struck and played the same safe fashion as the other 2?

Id play him from the start in most games, 18 is old enough to play, he should be playing more, Sarri just gives him 10 minutes here and there and it's not enough to develop, Sarri seems to have a complete lack of trust in the younger players, I'm still baffled by Sarri to drop Loftus cheek's after his hatrick, it's no wonder these youngsters don't have love or respect for this club.

Bild are basically Munich's mouthpiece so anything they say will have come from the club. Strange tactic to bring Liverpool into it.

It wasn't liverpools fault.

I tend to agree with you but he may be looking at Christian Pulisic coming in and thinking about how that works for him. They are similar players and the club have invested heavily in Pulisic.

The cynic in me says his agent is angling at a pay increase and assurances from the manager about game time.

They have also invested heavily in CHO though if you think about the last few years, I would hope he looks at the Pulisic situation and thinks "Great me and Christian tearing up the wings for the next 10 years" Hazard isnt going to be around for ever and Bill and Peds even less. But maybe thats just the blue in me :)

agree re the agent bit

Quick question for everyone:

If Hazard leaving this summer meant that CHO would start 90% of our games next season, would people be okay with Eden leaving or still want him to sign an extension?

We are basically in agreement. Pedro and Willian are very near the end of their use and yes Hazard will probably go.

Call mean old fashioned but I still think having an academy player in the team makes a difference.

I would rather a fully committed Hazard played and CHO replaced Willian or Pedro. Hazard is known quality whereas there is still an unknown element to CHO.
