Keep Hazard. Would rather keep him and lose CHO because he's such a unique talent and I feel more confident of success with him than banking on CHO who hasn't shown he can deliver the goods in senior football yet. Preferred scenario would be to keep both and sell Pedro and Willian in the summer with Pulisic coming in.

As above, I'd prefer to keep them both, and one of Willian/Pedro - I'm not sure yet that CHO is experienced enough to be the only choice we have.

Direct answer to that question is difficult. If we had a crystal ball and were certain CHO is going to be the top player we all think / hope he could be, than I would reluctantly sell Hazard. But if we sell Hazard and CHO doesn't end up fulfilling his potential, then it's not good. Think all us CFC want our cake & eat it (as we are entitled to!) and keep Hazard AND see CHO play more. At least one of Willian & Pedro to be moved on now we also will have Pulisic and perhaps sell both if we can pick up another promising, younger winger.

January 24, 20197 yr If he doesn't start tonight, I can see him pushing to leave before the end of the month.

In the short term I think it would be interesting to see if he still gets game this season. With Higuain coming in I would assume Sarri will revert to Willian & Hazard on the wings, with Giroud and Pedro on the bench. Where that leaves CHO is still unclear. Both have to be moved on, not just one. You can only keep wingers forward, your fourth with be a CM who can play on the wings ie RLC (Bernardo with City). City have Sane, Sterling and Mahrez in rotation; Liverpool have Salah, Mane with Shaqiri in rotation. Personally feel Hazard indecision is hindering the club in making future plans, and indirectly affecting his decision making process.

I'm partial to keeping Hazard, but I think it depends on the price we get for him, too. If someone was willing to pay 150m this summer for him, I think we would take it. Would we invest it wisely? Not too sure about that, which makes me lean towards keeping Hazard. So much is unknown about who we would buy and how we would build the team, after Hazard eventually departs, that I think it is much safer to keep him at all costs because we know what we have - a generational talent and best player in the league.

Great question. I think best case scenario is Willian and Pedro leaving. Hazard and CHO staying. Our Wing rotation will then be Hazard, CHO, Pulisic, RLC which potentially, could be very interesting. I actually quite like how Pedro plays and I think he fits into Sarri's system very well. But he'll be 32 after the summer which is really pushing it for a winger. But if it's a strict choice between Hazard and CHO, for me, It's very very close but I'd have to lean towards CHO. Maybe I'm sentimental, but the idea of a home-grown academy player potentially becoming a world-class player at Chelsea is just too tantalising, and I really think CHO has it in him to make it.

If he's going to start then Pedro or Hazard are not starting or if Hazard is again going to be false 9 then either Pedro or Willian are not starting. So...all things considered he could start ahead of Pedro or Willian but if he doesn't then I mean he wants to leave what else can anyone do about it? I thought that his best option is to wait and see if Hazard will be sold in the summer and if he could get a bigger role in the squad, and because of the annoying way that Bayern is apparently trying to get to him I would hate seeing him leave, specially to Bayern and in this way. IMHO it's 100% granted that he will have a much bigger role next season anyway.

January 26, 20197 yr They better get a move on then. I’ve only known us to drag out a transfer this long. Unless, no it can’t be! Is this all a complete load of made up drivel?

Which incidentally is likely dependent on if we qualify for the CL so I doubt the wait will be short. At this point if Sarri is just going to sit him behind Willian and Pedro we might as well accept the RB offer now and see how he gets on.

January 26, 20197 yr I wonder if this came from the same Sky sources who said we accepted their offer three weeks ago?
January 26, 20197 yr If he doesnt want to play for our club just sell him. We have plenty other youngsters who would appreciate playing for Chelsea more than him. No player is bigger than the club.
January 26, 20197 yr I’ve had just about enough of this saga For me if any player wants out then let them go. CHO is without question a talent but he clearly believes or is being advised he is much further developed than he clearly is. At 18 it isn’t just unusual to be a regular starter but it’s more often than not reckless in terms of the players long term career. To a degree this situation is very similar to when Sturridge left Man City to join us. He thought he was a far better player than there were at Chelsea and slowly but surely he realised the grass wasn’t greener. If we can get circa £40 million for him it’s time to take the money and run and yes down the line that may seem to have been awful business but it’s just as likely it won’t .

He’s been chucked on for the last 10 minutes in most games since the first spurs game and didn’t even get on in the second leg. His options are still really limited so is fully entitled to want out.
