We have sold salah KDB, lukaku and guess what we have continued to be successfully so him going won't make a damm difference to how succ we are.

All three could finish above us this season, two of them did last season already, so your assumption that we wouldn't be better with them, doesn't ring true does it ?

May this be the lesson for everyone responsible, because most other kids love the club they grew up with and look forward to play and be loyal or to come back to it, but this youngster despite everything wants to leave and to no other than Bayern. The time bomb of poor treatment of the best academy has exploded with the transfer request.

Yes they have and has it stopped us winning trophies, we are already in a cup final so we will continue to be successfully one player won't change that, unless he turns out to be Messi or Ronaldo type talent.

Yes I agree. I used to root for him, but now I'm fed up with the impatience and his management pressures and would rather he leave. I doubt he is solely behind wanting to leave. I imagine it's also family or friends pushing him to do so. There's a talented young player in Nicolas Pepe who plays in France.  he said he would like to play for Chelsea and he's a left footed wide attacker. I would rather take him over our own who don't want to play for us. Loftus-Cheek could have walked away a couple seasons ago but didn't, so that's the kind of player we want.

Take a look at how Tibo forced a move in the summer. That was quite disrespectful. CHO could have gobbed off to the press or failed to show up to training but he hasn't done anything like that. Handing in a transfer request seems like the proper thing to do for a player who definitely wants to leave. What exactly about that do you consider disrespectful? Do you not think he has very valid reasons for wanting to leave? Maybe we should force him to stay out of spite or to make some kind of point?

I thought I explained it in detail, but I'll be happy to oblige once more. He spent 10 years in our academy and  five months after being promoted to the first team he announces he wants to leave. You seriously don't see anything wrong with it?

CHO's been with the club since he was eight. We invested in the player lots of time and money and turned him into a young starlet he's now. People keep saying it's not about money for him, it's about an opportunity, well how about some f**king loyalty for a change, loyalty to the club that made you? Couldn't even wait till the end of his first season, really couldn't, right? I mean, God forbid, what if Bayern change their minds and won't come back for him in the summer. That would really be a tragedy, right?

This is his first full season in the first team squad, he's turned 18 in November. Halfway through the season he turns in a transfer request. What valid reasons could he possibly have? What has he accomplished to be unhappy at being a backup at this point of his career? People sh*t on Willian and Pedro all the time but these are players that won everything, they've got nothing to prove. It's he who has to prove himself If he wants to start ahead of either, in training and on those opportunities he gets in cup games.

Most CFC youngsters are sent out on loan to get playing time and impress. He wasn't. I guess the club and Sarri valued him enough to keep him around. Could he have been used more? Maybe. But once again, we don't know what's going on behind closed doors. Have you seen him in training? I know I haven't, but the coaching staff have, and maybe, just maybe they haven't seen enough from young Callum to give him a nod over more experienced teammates.

In any case, the only reason in these circumstances for him to act that way is purely egotistical. He's turned his back on the club that made him without even trying to make his mark. He can f**k off, for all I care.

If he wants to go, let him.

Doesn't want to play for Chelsea? f**k him, I don’t want him playing for us either.

Give us the £40m and we’ll bring in someone who wants to be here.

Self entitled 18 year old demanding playing time even though he’s proven nothing to no one.

Good riddance if he has handed in a transfer request.

Sturridge written over it.. he is managed by his brother agent.. who also has only CHO as a client.. the kid is getting some bad advice.. most ppl would jump at the thought of joining Chelsea from bundesliga... to be arnd the Chelsea first team... Bayern acted like arrogant scum they are to unsettle him... and the fact is its a really poor league apart from Dortmund and Bayern... so yes he might get more playing time.. but to be a global star he will need to play in Spain or England..

Wow, quite a few f**k him's, when he hasn't even left (yet). Such vitriol for someone who, like most of us, is entitled to make his own career decisions. He may aspire to be like Sancho, and he may turn out to be like Dominic Solanke, and then again he may stay at Chelsea. Let's wait and see what happens, shall we.

So how many other 18 year olds in the PL are getting more minutes than him ? I doubt more than a handful at most

He is entitled but you could likewise argue the club is entitled to run down his contract and not give  him one minute of football for the second half of this season and indeed all next season

How many 18 year olds come on for big clubs and upstage the senior players playing in their position? Already looks a better player than Willian & Pedro and he’s 18.

Rashford has been told he’s the main man at united ahead of 80m Lukaku apparently.

Meanwhile CHO can’t get a PL start for us.

Also your second point would be stupid - it would cost the club £40m and Chelsea wouldn’t stand in the way of a players career out of spite.

I think there’s blame on his side don’t get me wrong. He’s supposedly a Chelsea fan, if I was playing for us no matter how talented I’d work my bollocks off to make it at Chelsea over Real, Barca, Bayern etc. So I do question how much of a supporter he is. However, if it turns out he’s not a Chelsea fan then it’s no surprise he wants out.

I'm starting to think this way too. I have always said that we could have handled him a lot better this season and actually played him ahead of the likes of Pedro and Willian now and again, but I don't think it has been so bad that he would put in a transfer request. We were the club that gave him the opportunity to actually be a footballer, you would think he would have a bit more respect for the club and fans than that. He's an 18 year old kid playing his first proper season of senior football. It's not like we have shipped him out on loan multiple times and given him no hope of getting into the squad.  If he was a fan as people have said he is, then he would never put in a transfer request at this point in his career, he would be doing everything to get into that squad.

Even if he stays now, the relationship with the fans could be soured because of that transfer request. It was the same with Rooney at United, he did it twice and the fans never really took too him the same way as they did before, and he had won everything with United. Telling the club you want to leave is never going to go down well with the fans.

It's the transfer request that has done it, I think it's reaslitic to expect fans to be annoyed when they find out that somebody doesn't want to play for their club anymore.

Find it hard to believe we’d start a player who’s handed in a transfer request which indicates he doesn’t want to be at the club?

That’s what I think, as well.  It’s all a bit strange.

Doesn't really mean much, plenty of players in the past have put in a transfer request and still played the next game.

I don't think these stories are made up. If he hadn't done it, why not just say? He's on social media, it takes a few seconds to write "I haven't put in a transfer request"

We also don’t have options in this position.. haz and Pedro played on Thursday. RLC injured .. Moses loaned out.. doesn’t mean anything.. let’s c.. hope it’s more Arnautovic where signed an extension.

Yes, so? The supporters view their club as holy of the holiest, players generally just see an employer, and they may want to switch at some point in time. It's a shame when a promising young man  wants to leave (if indeed CHO does), yes, but FFS let's be a bit more mature about it, and stop it with tbe f**k you's. He's still our player.

Indeed that's the reality of modern football ... Business is business. Now a half promising youngster will get a price tag of 80 million £ (cf De Jong move to barça). Also, the whole controversy at PSG with Rabiot is a perfect example of what you described ! Rabiot sees PSG as an employer and wants a better salary and hence hesitates to renew his contract for now a good six month. The supporters' reaction at PSG has been quite aggressive to say the least and have voiced their will to ship him off the club asap ... Maturity is required indeed.

The best example for me was Donnarumma, the guy was like 17-18 years old and got targeted by a bunch of 30-40 year old men yelling at him and throwing fake dollar bills because he wasn't sure if he wanted to sign a new contract with AC Milan...Jesus grow up people and leave the kid alone, when a kid looks more mature than a 30 year old something is wrong.

A few here are behaving like teenage girls when that Zayn bloke left One Direction. I can see them now tearing their CHO posters down from their bedroom walls. And he hasn't even left yet, ffs.

Fair enough.  As for the social media bit, I’m sure his camp is telling him not to say anything, one way or another.  Example being how he posting something along the lines of “don’t always believe what you hear” a few weeks back, and it was almost immediately taken down.
