Callum Hudson-Odoi

Really disappointing.

Ampadu and RLC was patient and eventually chances came their way, especially RLC who is an important player now.

Ampadu, it won’t be long until he gets more minutes. Hudson Odoi is getting minutes, he’s 18 for gods sake, Sarri is slowly breaking him into first team. I’ll be surprised if he isn’t a regular by next season. But what can we do if he doesn’t want to wait?

It has not really. RLC has got more chances but not starting enough and has recently had injuries. Ampadu has not played in the league this season IIRC?

So 4 days before the window closes, during a midfielder injury crisis he puts a transfer request in? Cheers Callum, great timing that.

Gutted he's put in a request, he should be playing more, others have been poor and he only gets 10 minutes here and there, Sarri clearly doesn't rate him enough or other young players, shame really would of probably been here a lot longer than the manager, that being said any player that puts in a transfer request needs to be sold, sell him move on.

he signed a contract with us until the summer of 2020. For a recently turned 18 year old to go against that and hand in a transfer request to his boyhood club that are desperate to keep him absolutely stinks! We should 100% reject his transfer request - Bayern can do one! I’m shocked that there are quite a few posters on here that seem fine with this news!? He’s only just turned 18 and is the future of our club - he’s also getting more and more gametime! We need to be firm here.

Lets put a buy back clause and sell him if he wants to go to Bayern. To all you guys saying him to f**k off you should get a grip. The boy wants to play and Bayern could be able to play him. Sarri clearly wont. Sarri's aim is to make us win.

Ask the Germans.

That wouldn't be Kevin De Bruyne, would it

If the press can be believed (yeah I know...) then he made his mind up to leave several weeks ago, so the transfer request doesn't really change anything. It's still up to the club whether to let him go or not. Also, there's no injury crisis at the moment that I'm aware of.

If he wants to leave then I'm not sure how he could have handled it in a 'better' way. He didn't go AWOL or spout off to the press at all, and has still given 100% in his few cameo appearances (that could have been interpreted as empty/token gestures from Sarri). People here calling him 'sulky' and 'disrespectful' need to grow the f**k up, it's embarrassing.

18 yrs. old and turning down £80,000 / week tells us its not down to the money. I honestly don't blame him for wanting to move, after being assured game time and then watching a player like willian starting before him , who is basically a useless waste of space.

He shouldn’t have signed a contract until 2020 if he didn’t want to stay until then. I’m not blaming him for wanting more game time, but an 18 year old trying to force a move when he has 18 months left on his contract stinks. Especially as he has just broken into the first team squad and getting more game time. Hopefully he stays professional when the club reject his transfer request and ask him to honour his contract.

Dailymail just posted that CHO is starting in todays Fa cup game! (Link)

No club or coach would ever allow a player to start a game after he has handed in a transfer request!

He also just uploaded this cryptic message to his Instagram story..

He gets 'bad advice' from someone. By bad I mean bad for Chelsea. Jadon Sancho could also be some sort of a marker for him. He went to Germany and is already a star there. I also think Sarri's selections have pissed him off.

He's been with the club since he was 8. At 18 in his first year with the first team squad halfway through the season he hands in  a transfer request and insists on leaving. If that's not disrespectful, then what is?

He probably did want to stay when he signed it. There are several very obvious reasons why he might have changed his mind since, not least the opportunity to go live in Munich and play for such a massive club, which would be very appealing for a young man like him.

You kind of are blaming him though, and asking to leave then handing in a transfer request is hardly 'forcing' a move. It's only a request and the club are not forced to do anything. I don't think forcing him to stay against his will would be in either side's interest though.

f**k the money, 18 months left on contract.

f**k Munich, Bavarian w**kers ! Hope the club reports the tossers.

And there fans where leather shorts and slap their thighs!!! That needs reporting to!

I tihnk that sarri was spot on not to change pedro with CHO against spuds cause he was aminig at penalty shootout at the time with willian who has calm to net it. It was his do or die. so dissapointed in CHO with handing a tranfer request. you just don't do that at 18 years to the boyhood club.

Doesn't matter about his age, its probably more to with Pedro and Willian underperforming and he still doesn't get a look in. Why was he kept at the club when the players fighting for the same position as him can go months not playing well and he still doesn't play. At City they have a ridiculous amount of midfielders who are all playing well, at Chelsea that hasnt happened. Would Chelsea be any worse giving CHO more games over Willian, I very much doubt it.

We have sold salah KDB, lukaku and guess what we have continued to be successfully so him going won't make a damm difference to how succ we are. Sad to see him go but that attitude is not welcome here

I don't know whether this is just about lack of playing time in the last month or 2.  We just signed another winger for big money and no doubt he sees that as a further obstacle to playing time. If Hazard stays then CHO would have to get in the team ahead of him or Pulusic, not to mention Willian and Pedro. That combined with what looks like blatant tapping up by Bayern has led to this decision I think. I would still reject the request at least until summer. We can still get decent money for him then and would have more time to find a replacement assuming he still wants to leave.

Well he really wants to go, it's sad but the club needs to let him go and find another winger in these remaining days.

He has been chelsea since he was 8 years old, if he leaves now and goes on to be a top class player else where, what does that say about the chelsea academy?, other than it does not produce talent for chelsea. It will be a failure for chelsea whoever 's fault it is or is not

Take a look at how Tibo forced a move in the summer. That was quite disrespectful. CHO could have gobbed off to the press or failed to show up to training but he hasn't done anything like that. Handing in a transfer request seems like the proper thing to do for a player who definitely wants to leave. What exactly about that do you consider disrespectful? Do you not think he has very valid reasons for wanting to leave? Maybe we should force him to stay out of spite or to make some kind of point?
