As Zola so rightly said, his sense of entitlement is unjustified, must be the only 18yr old in all of Europe holding his pay masters to Ransom, he wants to be thankful that  Roman doesn't spirit him away to a Gulag to learn some gratitude.

How is he holding anyone to ransom?

He has handed in a transfer request; in the meantime he is clearly still working hard, being selected, and scoring goals.

Now if he went missing (like Courtois did), then that would be a different story.

He's a talented footballer, he's loved by the fans, he's been offered a fantastic deal, he must realise he has a great future at Chelsea.

But if he adopts a stroppy attitude i'll be glad if he goes.

Done nothing wrong imo. Nice to see a young football with ambition to further his career rather than just take an easy pay rise and sit on the bench earning £80k a week. 

That is what is so wrong with football, he thinks he deserves a starting spot, Chelsea not so sure, He is 18 and demanding (apparently) let me go, i don't trust the club we love to do what is right, he is good, but not that f**king good!

He’s bloody good for a 18 year old though!

It maybe we are waiting to see how much Bayern will pay in relation to getting another player like possibly Paredes (though not necessarily him.)

It’s a shame that we can’t invent a time machine to see whether this boy is the real deal or not. £35m for a kid that may or may not  kick on is fantastic money. 

Weve seen it time and time again with young players who don’t take that next step up. There hasn’t been a player from our academy that we’ve regretted so far letting go. 

Not saying we should sell by the way.

I don’t remember another academy player as good as he is at 18.

I thought he was superb. When they were deep and compressed he was able to break through their defensive lines. He does this more effectively than either Pedro or Willian. 

We desperately need this to flourish. We need him to stay.

With the Chelsea first team:

CHO - 2 goals and 3 assists in 535 minutes. 

Goal contribution every 107 minutes.

Pedro - 7 goals and 2 assists in 1652 minutes.

Goal contribution every 184 minutes.

Willian - 7 goals and 6 assists in 2210 minutes.

Goal contribution every 170 minutes.

 

Sure you can argue he's played against weaker opposition, but he's also played with weaker team mates. It included games against Arsenal and Spurs. I see no reason why he's had 1/4 of the minutes Willian has had and 1/3 of the minutes of Pedro with the injury crisis we have been through in recent weeks. 

Add to this the fact Sancho has managed to rack up 1528 minutes in the Bundesliga and CHO  is doing what is best for him.

I can't help but feel his ability is being hugely inflated as part of the media campaign to encourage his departure to Munich. Still rather we were able to keep him and find out for ourselves. As much as he isn't better than Pele at the moment (contrary to all the BBC Sport articles), he looks like he can do a job as well as anyone in our squad right now. Probably too late now anyway - use it or lose it is the phrase that springs to mind.

City have just agreed to sell another British youngster to a German club, very few headlines about that, or the sancho move, or the arsenal kid who moved either. Its odd how CHO moving is headline news though.

No agenda from the media eh? ahem. Its a bit like the way they constantly advise CHO to leave us for more playing time while Phil Foden should be happy with 10 mins a season.

TBF CHO is head and shoulders above all them. Having said that, the media do love to portray us as the villains.  

No doubt the media will throw a major tantrum if we refuse to let him leave this window.

Add to this the quoted stat from last night of Foden having nearly double the game time...

but excluding that he is a) nearly a year older and b) in his second season as a first team squad member... in his first year he played in 2 games or something, so by the same metric CHO is getting 4 times the game time at the same stage of development.

I noticed that from Alex Scott. She's usually a good pundit but that was a bit of a misstep from her.

Yes. It is ridiculous. Foden is a good player but I think he has even more limited opportunities at City due to the wealth of players they have in those positions.
