He doesn’t really have much choice does he? We’ve told him no and he’s got to accept it and we’ve got to hope he respects that decision.

I don’t like that he tried to force his exit from the club and I guess time will tell whether Chelsea’s stance will pay off long term or whether we’re eventually forced into selling him next season or lose him on a free.

Maybe we’ll convince him to stay but right now nothing has changed.

Didn't he threaten to get sent off and score own goals if the club didn't accept his request?...  I can see a defender like Gallas doing that - being that he plays in defence, but CHO plays forward... Imagine a mazy CHO run from up front, megs Kante, rounds Kepa, back of the net 

Not that I'd ever think CHO would sink that low of course haha

Why do people seem unhappy about this ? We just kept one of the best prospects in Europe, confirmed by the interest BM have shown. Be happy.

That's so true " one of the best prospects" I'm more than happy for him to stay if that's what he wants.! If he listens to sarri & zola and sticks with it i hope next season he is the 1st name on the team sheet.

Exactly.

Okay, none of us know how this will turn out but let's at least try and be positive. From CHO's point of view, I don't care if it is Bayern Munich who are courting him, surely if he thinks about it, he will be better off if he stays and becomes a top player at Chelsea. Only 18, whole future ahead of him and he has the chance to become one of the biggest stars at one of the biggest teams in the PL, in London where all his family and friends can go and watch him every week. Why go and play in Germany FFS?

I guess he is looking at Jadon Sancho at 18 with 19 first team appearances this season and he wants some of the same and feels he is being held back, rightly or wrongly.

So he does have a choice then, namely in how he reacts to the club's decision. The tweet above indicates he is respecting it, although it is quoting the Daily Mail as a source so I'd take that with a pinch of salt for now.

Or he stays because he has proven himself to Sarri and the club bend over backwards to keep him. We win.

CHO has 11, including against City, Spuds and L'Arse, as well as 4 European matches.  Not too shabby so far for a break-through season, IMO.

And Jadon Sancho doesn't play in a league where you have Tottenham,Arsenal.Liverpool,Man City, Man Utd to compete with, they have Bayern Munich. Its' easier to play youngsters when you know the worse you will finish is 2nd. Plus he doesn't have to compete agains't  players like Hazard, he competes against an injury prone Reus and Pulisic who they knew was leaving so basically stopped playing him.

He doesn't have much choice as in staying until the summer (minimum). As in he doesn't deserve praise for staying when he didn't have any say in it. We as his employer and contract holder did. 

It now remains to be seen how he reacts to not getting what he wanted, which was to leave., which he tried to force through by handing in a transfer request. I view as ungrateful to the club when we've been a making a big effort to incorporate him into the team this season despite his lack of experience.
