Well he really wants to go, it's sad but the club needs to let him go and find another winger in these remaining days.

Dailymail just posted that CHO is starting in todays Fa cup game! (Link)

No club or coach would ever allow a player to start a game after he has handed in a transfer request!

He also just uploaded this cryptic message to his Instagram story..

That tells me he's going to stick it out

I thought I explained it in detail, but I'll be happy to oblige once more. He spent 10 years in our academy and  five months after being promoted to the first team he announces he wants to leave. You seriously don't see anything wrong with it?

CHO's been with the club since he was eight. We invested in the player lots of time and money and turned him into a young starlet he's now. People keep saying it's not about money for him, it's about an opportunity, well how about some f**king loyalty for a change, loyalty to the club that made you? Couldn't even wait till the end of his first season, really couldn't, right? I mean, God forbid, what if Bayern change their minds and won't come back for him in the summer. That would really be a tragedy, right?

This is his first full season in the first team squad, he's turned 18 in November. Halfway through the season he turns in a transfer request. What valid reasons could he possibly have? What has he accomplished to be unhappy at being a backup at this point of his career? People sh*t on Willian and Pedro all the time but these are players that won everything, they've got nothing to prove. It's he who has to prove himself If he wants to start ahead of either, in training and on those opportunities he gets in cup games.

Most CFC youngsters are sent out on loan to get playing time and impress. He wasn't. I guess the club and Sarri valued him enough to keep him around. Could he have been used more? Maybe. But once again, we don't know what's going on behind closed doors. Have you seen him in training? I know I haven't, but the coaching staff have, and maybe, just maybe they haven't seen enough from young Callum to give him a nod over more experienced teammates.

In any case, the only reason in these circumstances for him to act that way is purely egotistical. He's turned his back on the club that made him without even trying to make his mark. He can f**k off, for all I care.

Spot on mate, totally agree

Going on the first half his head is in Munich. Can understand his point of view but as a supporter can't accept it.

Want him to stay, but if he doesnt want to fight for a place, we get 40m for him and Ampadu gets moved up the list I'd be ok with that.

Post match interview q) could this be your last game? A) I can’t say. Q) have you been in contact with Munich? A) I can’t say.

well young boy.... your answers probably do say! Why else would you not answer no and no unless there was more to it?

Didn’t see game been in Mexico sunning it

Shame but looks like he’s off. Up to the club to get extract every last Euro out of Bayern who tapped the lad up but nowt will get done by FIFA. Loyalty in football not anymore, his agent stands to make a few mill Euros to boot.

Good luck CHO

Put it into perspective.

You're an 18 year old prospect, you're already playing a lot for the England U internationals, whenever you get your chance you score/assist. Then you sometimes get to sit on a bench and watch players who are supposed to be our first 11 starters play like utter w**k week in week out, you have Bayern knocking on the door and many other clubs that seem very eager that actually have a reputation of developing prospects, unlike the club that you play for who hasn't really developed one player since John Terry.

What do you think?

Think he’s a bit of a selfish sod and no doubt brainwashed by his agent.

If he doesn’t want to earn his place and accept he has just started top flight football and can’t just be starting every week then we have no choice.

Shame as we have 2 ageing wingers and our best one is odds on to leave in the summer. 6 months from now he could easily be 1st choice, he can’t be bothered to wait though and thinks the grass is greener in the other side.

we shall see

Of course he's selfish, it's his career. He's hardly going to stay to please you or me. But if he has any sense, he'll realise there are no guarantees elsewhere, just as there are no guarantees at Chelsea.

Valid points.

However to counter them.

You're an 18 year old kid, in his first year playing for the club you support as a boy, you've played at Wembley in the charity shield, you've made your European debut, scored your first goal, you've played 2 games in the fa cup, 1 motm, 1 goal, and 2 assists. Your manager is publicly speaking highly of you, you are on the cusp of breaking into the starting 11, and the club want to give you a massive pay rise and long term contract.

Why would you want to push for a move right now?

If his CHO’s reasons for wanting to  leave are due to playing time, I think it’s totally reasonable for us to reject the transfer request. He will be our starting right-winger in a couple of months so he’ll be happy. We cannot let Bayern tap him up and get him this window - I’d rather he went to any other club in Europe in the summer if he’s still unhappy with his playing time.

Allegedly.

Every news outlet in the country reported it, Zola certainly didn't deny that was the case either, and CHO's interview would suggest that at the very least he is considering his future.

Maybe they are all lying though, and CHO can't say whether or not that was his last game for Chelsea for some other reason.

Because the media never make anything, club personnel always give straight answers questions about players futures and players themselves always come out and say ‘yep, I’m off tomorrow’.

@yorkleyblue please turn up and add some more common sense to the proceedings before the hysteria completely takes over.

If he wants to go, let him.

Doesn't want to play for Chelsea? f**k him, I don’t want him playing for us either.

Give us the £40m and we’ll bring in someone who wants to be here.

Self entitled 18 year old demanding playing time even though he’s proven nothing to no one.

Good riddance if he has handed in a transfer request.

Even if it's only used as a bargaining chip for a better contract offer from us ?

Seriously...who wouldn't try every trick in the book to get more money in your employment contract ?

I think we'll reject the transfer request and try to keep him for the rest of the season at least. What really does annoy me though is how happy the media are to shop him to the supposedly "bigger and better club" Bayern Munich. Chelsea players are free game to be shopped around it seems. Danny Murphy making comments like 'his head is in Munich' is an absolute joke. Apparently Phil Foden is right to stay at Man City but Hudson-Odoi isn't right to stay with us.

Hopefully he stays in January and wins a consistent place in the team.

I don’t want him to stay to please me, I’d rather he was a bit more grateful for the club who have spent a fortune getting him to this level to have him and Bayern flirt with each other and then hand in a transfer request like he’s a seasoned pro been frozen out when in reality he’s just turned 18 and played more first team football for Chelsea than anyone else at his age in decades.

If he wants to leave then fine but the transfer request is pretty disrespectful IMO.

Because it’s a dick move, especially from a player has done nothing to be in a position to blackmail the club.
