Let him take the money from Bayern. Money grabbing mercenary. Good riddance to get rid of him.

We’re going to buy Higuain and Wilson anyway. We don’t need him and his stupid double barrelled surname.

or you know, actually play the promising 18 yer old when the over 30year old players in his spot are not only not performing, but not even trying the whole game.

If he was shown he can have a future hear instead of just being told it, might change his mind..... but any player in CHO's current situation who isn't pushing for the BM move (considering the context) probably doesn't posses the mentality needed to become a top player.

I wouldn't get rid of him on the strength of a tweet from Sky Sports, who have been bullsh*tting about this for weeks.

I guess some people cant get their head around skybet odds :laugh2:

People can state Skysports have been stating he is on verge of leaving for weeks etc and it still has not happened, but let's face facts, he is off. He will not sign a contract. Too little, too late. He will go to a better team, who will give him more chances and will actually look a lot better in that league. Over 90% of our fans were expecting to see him start against Huddersfield in our first game of the season and it turned out he was not even in the squad and he just went into oblivion. That was Sarri basically saying "you been really good but I value experience". Sancho and CHO are very similar and not a lot of difference. I can see CHO going another level in Bundesliga. Let's still note that CHO has not started a single PL game as of yet. Also, he prefers to play off the left. Although we are playing him more recently, we play him on the right and it just seems Sarri is forcing it due to the serious threat of him leaving, while beginning of the season he underestimated the fact. Words can't describe how upset I am about this, especially as I know he will tear the Bundesliga apart and will prob be full English international next season. We have been criticized for not giving chances to our academy products, but this one is a huge blow for us. The most annoying thing is majority of fans all were aware at the beginning of the season that  he had not signed a contract. Was Sarri that stupid to not think other top clubs were aware of his talents? Gutted and I don't see how we convince him to stay. Bayern have promised him too much.

If he doesn’t want to sign a new contract the only way forward is to sell. Pay for his time in the academy and towards a replacement. Good Business sense of the academy  model, if they don’t want to stay or aren’t good enough sell them on.

That's your opinion based on what have been, so far, misleading press reports. A guess, in other words. It may turn out to be correct but it's still an uninformed guess.

Too much smoke without fire. Too many outlets reporting it. I would love if it was just another 'rumour' but don't seem like it.

He is under contract until 2020. for the money being offered why should we rush into letting him go? Maybe he will change his mind if he gets an extended run in the team

CHO is in an age he is very much influenced by everything. He might go if he gets bad advice. Bad for us anyway. It is a balancing act really with him.

Sell him, bring in someone better. Simple. I have little patience for any player who doesn't want to be here now.

You'd rather someone content to collect wages while sitting on the bench?  I mean I totally get this mentality as I share it too, but I kind of give a pass to those who want to leave because the manager won't give them any minutes even when the people starting week in-and-out are totally underwhelming.

It's not like he's unwilling to fight for a place, but that he's done literally all he can do to get minutes (and the people ahead of him have almost done all they can to deserve losing their spot) and he's still not getting them even though he was popularly viewed as MOTM last time he got a proper chance.

But nearly all (if not all) of those outlets are just reposting and reprinting the Sky rumours each time.  If I post that Drogba is coming out of retirement to solve our striker problem, that is just made up bollocks.  If enough twatters and "soccer" web sites repost that it will then become the received truth, but  that neither makes it true or believable.

But you might end up with a huge amount of smoke, but no fire at all.

Great. Is arguably the best academy prospect produced by any PL club and could possibly go on to become an exceptional player, but nah, just get rid whilst over the next few seasons we watch the same old faces toil away doing their stuff and disappointing more often than not.

We are meant to be a Big Club, so we don't let our best young talent go anywhere, even if they have had their heads turned. Does seem wrong that it has got to this stage but that is modern football for you where the agents have so much power. Years ago, there is no way an 18 year old could get tapped up by another club, but now the agents are constantly on the case. I guess we have benefited from this situation a fair bit over the seasons and "nicked" talent from smaller clubs so we're in no position to shout foul, but if we lose CHO it will be right up there with some of the worst dealings we have been involved in.

Agree! The £35m won’t get you a world class winger these days, so play him and let him run down his contract. He might have a change of heart at the beginning of next season, and helps change the myth of us not giving youth a chance. Bayern would move on if we don’t budge, and get a replacement in for Robben/Ribery.

scary when you look at your statement, yet true, all that dosh doesn't guarantee you anything.

watching CHO progress (good or bad) at Chelsea is priceless.

The boy has been mismanaged and his head has been turned by a big club.

His mind looks made up and our manager looks to stick to his favourite old heads. The future looks quite clear on this one it's just a matter of if the club want to cash in or keep him and home time makes him change his mind.

We tend to go with players wishes these days so I fully expect him to move in the summer sadly.

I understand his immense potential, but do we really want a player who doesn’t even want to be here?

No player is bigger than club. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love him to decide to stay and fight for his place but from the way things are looking, he’s looking to run down his contract according to multiple reports so we could risk losing him for free.

Do we really want to bend over backwards for a 18 year old?

If 35m is the most Bayern are going to offer then it may be worth risking losing him on a free or even cheaper with the hope that he decides to stay after this season.

To be honest, this much trouble for a 18 year old? Let the door hit him and his dad on the way out and escort them out of the club by security. Theyre using us to get a better deal for when he inevitably goes to Bayern.
