'Standing his ground' a grey area, but he has his hands on Morata...

I totally get that but you can’t put your hands on them to stop them going passed you, no different to dragging someone back

Of course the ref blows half time when we should have had a freekick.......

if that's city, utd, pool or arsenal that's a freekick.

what does Morata have to do to win a free kick. even there the ref blew for half time just to avoid having to give the free - it's ridiculous

overall, satisfactory half. Alonso has been poor, but Hazard and Cesc have enough to take this lot apart.

hoping to see us get another couple of goals second half

come on chelsea

I used to think this whole idea of ref bias was a myth. Now I believe they actively do their best to undermine us.

5 games in a row last year the opposing team scored a goal that was clearly  a handball and it wasn't called

Wtf, guys, Morata should stop diving and crying and then he will eventually get whistles. Right now even I wouldnt give him nothing cuz he is damn f(((ing annoying.

I agree that he doesn't help himself, but the fouls are so clear the ref has got to be able to see it. Even Diego didn't get ignored as much as this.

Referee is atrocious. Also i had to switch off the sound, these c**ts comentators were going on15 min !! about Morata pushing the defender before the goal.  Pathetic... On a good side we stepped up after the goal, we deserve the lead. Moses is back, Alonso needs a break.

this is right because, had Morata not been fouled he could have had a shot on goal and we all know the ref would not blow for half time before that sequence of play ended. it was ended by a foul so we should have had the chance to take a free before the whistle was blown.

guarantee if that had been a foul on a Newcastle player on the edge of the Chelsea box we would have seen a free kick taken before he blew for half time

The last two fouls are on Morata should have been given. Go and see Manchester United’s Young and see what is called diving.

There is a campaign on Chelsea. Get it.

That's great anticipation from Morata. Missed that in the Swansea game from him.

That was exactly the point I was making in the morata thread. He would've had some good chances if had gambled more midweek. He's been good today though.

Where the f* did they find this referee? A clear penalty missed when the GK elbowed Morata in the back, they even call that a fault in Ruby. Free kick in the dying second outside the box, again waved away. The handball leading up to their goal, it's a high arm, so f* obvious. This is getting beyond a joke, I dare say he's going to give Newcastle a penalty in the second half, just hope we will  have the game wrapped up before that.

We are turning this around, should have scored the third and put them away. If we keep playing like this, another goal or 2 are coming soon. Let's hope we don't  slow down and play the 1 goal lead towards the last 10, their long balls have worried us on a few occasions, so it will be nail biting stuff in the end if we don't put them away soon.
