If we will finish 1st in the group, we could meet Bayern and Real Madrid ( if Spurs won't lose ). If we will finish 2nd, we could meet PSG and Barcelona. 

If Atletico wants to continue in the competition, then they have to win us and Roma should lose, low chances of this to happen, but it's still football.

Anyways, I think we've to put a good performance against Atletico, especially at our home to show that we're a top club and have the class to win CL, maybe Atletico aren't at their best, but they still a tough opponent.

I know we wont play this but its a lovely team because Kante and alonso need a major rest while hazard morata and Fab can be protected and be used as impact subs.

  Also we need fresh legs for Westham because we all know they will raise their game for a london derby just like crystal palace did

It's not a must win game but would be good if we do. I agree with giving the 2nd team a shot at this game.

Just need to defend properly as Atleti will have to attack if they want to rescue any hope of getting into the R16.

A win would guarantee the top spot. A draw/loss leaves us at Roma's mercy. With december coming in, we definitely need to rotate.

Manchester derby is coming in too which would mean we can reduce the gap to one of them or both. I would go for rotation here.

Hard to win this one I feel. Atletico showed against roma they can raise their game again.

Real Madrid are less of a force this season. Ronaldo and benzema well past their best. Modric Kroos, isco still a threat.

You're not in the wrong:

Article 18 Match system – round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals
18.01 The round of 16 pairings are determined by means of a draw in accordance with
the following principles:
a. Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.
b. Group winners must be drawn against runners-up from a different group.
c. The runners-up play the first leg at home.
 

So it is essential that we finish top. 42% we draw Bayern, Juve or Real.

Finish 2nd and 67% we draw PSG or Barca.

 

The biggest thing about finishing top is that you play the second leg at home which I think makes a massive difference.

Not surprising. I doubt they expect roma to mess up their game so they are playing to restore their pride from this miserable effort to qualify. I expect quality from them.

Are you insane ? If we don't win this game, we will finish 2, and so we will play PSG, Barcelona or Besiktas. If we finish 1 we can play against Basel/CSKA, Bayern, Juventus, Sevilla, Shaktar, Porto/Leipzig, Real Madrid.

I expect a strong team, even this is a dead rubber, because Atletico is a big team, and you don't want to lose to a big team at your home ground. Given the heavy schedule, I'd rest Morata and Alonso at least. As I see it, we either get Real or PSG in the next round, so either way it's going to be tough

we dominated them throughout the first game and won at the last minute! It should have been 4-1 for us though! for tommorrow, I expect Conte to play the usual suspects and not rotate at all: we have to beat them to secure the first place!!! Playing home second in the R16 is absolutely vital!!! I don't care about mers frankly...

We can draw and stil finish top of the group. Problem is, we'll draw a tough team anyway given our luck and most teams adopt a different mindset once the knockout stages starts. PSG isn't unbeatable anyway as proven by Strasbourg so we still have a chance even against them.

Atleti would probably sit back and try to counter us, they had a tough game a few days ago and will have another on the weekend. Their only hope is winning and praying Qarabag will beat Roma in Rome which is a miracle at best but at the same time it's a gamble for them due to being pretty close to Barcelona in the Liga.

On paper, it's a dead rubber but this is football. We just need to properly manage this game if we want anything out of it.
