Atleti would probably sit back and try to counter us, they had a tough game a few days ago and will have another on the weekend. Their only hope is winning and praying Qarabag will beat Roma in Rome which is a miracle at best but at the same time it's a gamble for them due to being pretty close to Barcelona in the Liga.

On paper, it's a dead rubber but this is football. We just need to properly manage this game if we want anything out of it.

I agree, PSG isn't unbeatable, but I prefer fall on them in 1/4 or 1/2 not in 1/8.  Mostly that between the 1/8 game we will play Manchester United and Manchester City at their home...

As good as Drinkwater has been i'd play Baka and Kante to soak up pressure then hit them on the counter. Atletico are gonna have to attack us for this one to try and get something. Long ball from Cesc into Eden and Alvaro could make this very easy.

89 games, 52 goals. 2 titles. Wouldn't have done it without him. You don't know what goes behind the scenes and every Chelsea player talks highly of him. He probably has problem with authorities in general but have some respect for the man.

AM should come out in a very attacking way, which is extremely uncharacteristic for them. They need 3 points if they want any shot at getting in.  Should make for an exciting open match.  I can see a bit of rotation for this one even though it's far better to finish top of the table than 2nd.  Looking forward to watching!  COYB

If we win we can face :

Basel or CSKA from Group A
Bayern Munich from Group B
Juventus or Sporting from Group D
Sevilla or Spartak from Group E
Shaktar or Napoli from Group F
Porto or RedBull Lepizig from Group G
Ream Madrid from Group H

If we come second in the group by not winning, we face :

Barcelona, Besiktas or PSG.

I'd much rather take my chances in topping the group and avoiding PSG or Barca so I cant see much rotation tonight , we can do that against West Ham.

DIEGO DIEGO DIEGO DIEGO. I definitely have respect for the Man/Beast. Always gave it his all and then some for the blue cause. The way his Chelsea career ended will never diminish my appreciation for the man. 

   Same way no matter how much Mourinho talks sh*t about Chelsea he will always be a Legend to me.

I was reading on the CFC redit site & saw that AM has only one lost in all competitions this season & we all know who that was from. I am sure they will be up for this match. Despite what the pundits are saying, AM are the Real Deal.

hopefully, we'll be able to capitalize on the chances we missed in the first fixture and score more than two goals against ATM and get a convincing win! they're due a proper beating since 2014 when they beat us in the semis !! We shall return them the favour by knocking them off the UCL ! My team prediction is really classic :

I think he's more of a dumbass than a real knobhead in my opinion... the guy's only interested in making big cash (how the f**k on earth would you want to go china as a professionnal player before you reach 35???) or coming to his darling club ATM. CFC was only an opportunity for him. I am not mad for his choices... but more at his foolishness. but hey, that's life!

Atletico have to win tonight and hope that Roma drop points against Carrier Bag. This won't be easy. Atletico have only lost one match in 20 something games and that was against us. We need to finish top of the group to avoid PSG or Barca. This one is difficult to predict. Let's hope we do it. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!
