Moyse was at the Bridge tonight, probably eyeing up Bats for a swap deal with Carroll.............rumour is he left at half time because he'd seen enough.  Based on tonights performance it seems our choices of finding a 2nd striker are somewhat limited.

Perhaps in an emergency Barkley can fill in. Though a decent back up striker would be preferable with Bats on his way to a destination far from SB for me.

After seeing that sh*te last night and the previous few games, let's get this Carroll deal done!!!! O how the mighty have fallen. 

Hopefully he is injuring himself at the session training today for a long time like that he can't come to Chelsea. 

I thought last night Morata's ban - 3 games - will scupper any striker move as we now need Batshuayi. Unless whoever joins is match sharp and fit immediately and thrown straight into the team.  Morata won't play again until at least deadline day v Bournemouth

 

EDIT: I thought Morata was a 3 game ban for straight red, some reckon it was 2 yellows so 1 game. Unlikely to affect our plans in that case.

Not that much better of a player but at least he's got something different to Morata or Carroll.

Bellamy is either going to be a poor manager or a great manager. He'd be up for a fight if any of his players f**ked about. 

Wisey agreeing with me on Vardy. Sign the man. He'd be a great player at Chelsea. Wouldn't break the bank to sign him.

He's pretty much just an older Batshuayi. Can poach and not much more.

If Dzeko is available that might work well, 31 and at Roma.

We do sign injured players. Bakayoko joined injured iirc, Pato, Barkley to an extent.  Sadly, hairline fracture is not that  big a deal.
