I stopped reading after this sentence.

I did say elsewhere that it wouldn't take a lot to be his best performance. He didn't get sent off, he didn't give a goal away. He won a few tackles and now and again he completed a pass...ergo

All I remember is him doing his twist and shout routine while Swansea players breezed past him.

He did actually win a few balls and turn possession around. He and kante allowed Fabregas to play further up the pitch. I'm not saying it was a glittering performamce but it was still the best i have seen him play.

Makes you wonder why the club bought him and make Conte use him

Maybe like me they saw nothing of him playing for Monaco but assumed that he must be good because Monaco reached the CL semi final. And maybe they’re playing him now in the hope he does a ‘Salah’ or just to try and prevent his value dropping below half a million.

Actually his best game for us was against United where he actually did boss the midfield, against Matic no less. That led me to believe he was indeed an upgrade, little did I know that was to be a one off performance

He braced for impact and that led to a better contact and more transfer of force onto Cahill. 100% intentional for me.

Cahill could have been knocked out, if he’d caught him with much more force on his head. He’s a thug and if the FA had any morals, they’d do him for that.

Result we needed but the top 4 is gone imo. Even though we play Liverpool it is not realistic to catch them.

If spurs bottle it maybe but they face 4 easy marks and have to lose two.

Had we had this ground out mentality against Watford and Bournemouth things would be a bit different.

Forget watford and bournemouth. Had we just ground out the result against WHU, we would have been at 68 points in 35 games, 4 points behind pool with 1 less game played. Win our last 3 and we could have got the top 4. We seriously screwed the pooch

It's easier to just look at 3 months of sh*t rather than individual games.

Makes you laugh though, when you watch Bakayoko and remember the stick that Mikel got. Most of the time Mikel did what he was supposed to do and was a very tidy player, but if the ball hit Cahill on the arse and looped over the keepers head, it was his fault.

Fair point. These theories still lean heavy on us beating the 2018 champions of Europe at home when we lost to the bleep from the lane who won bleep all again and drew with a very poor west ham at home.

Klopp loves coming to the bridge.

I thought Mikel was very average and limited, but he did have a good first touch and knack for playing tidy football, Bakayoko seriously lacks both of these two attributes.

I actually like Mikel to a certain extent - he wasn't exciting but he was reliable and solid.

Contes 50th prem win, 3rd best behind Maureen & Pep, atrocious weather, team did just enough but it was dodgy at the end lucky they have no decent finishers either

baka wasn’t awful but didn’t set the pitch on fire either, Cesc got his 50th prem goal as well so overall a 50/50 day !!

hope Watford can rise to the occasion on Monday then

You really can’t deny how much Hazard would flourish in an attacking team. He’s clearly has it all and it really pains me to say this but, we are holding his talent back. If he joined Liverpool he could have a Salah esque season, but the thing is he’s so much better than Salah considering how Salah did for us.

I really hate how we’re such a defensive team, when we have the talent to be an epic attacking team. It’s just Chelsea nowadays isn’t it.
