For me this is best case scenario should we lose Hazard, Willian, and Courtois. I think isco is pretty under valued at madrid, maybe that will change under Lopetgui, but i doubt it. Morata and isco are pretty close so i think he would come here.

Juventus need to recoup money from the Ronaldo deal, and they are still being linked with a big money move for Savic-Milinkovic, so maybe they would be more open to big offer for Dybala than people seem to think. Convincing Dybala to come here would be the hard part, but money talks, and if we paid him enough, I think he would come. 

I actually think it is too late in the window for us work on these big deals though, Hazard is going on holiday so u don't expect here anything next week either.

It's clear that you don't know well Maurizio Sarri. Dybala with Maurizio Sarri would play only center forward and Isco would play miedfilder .

Hazard must stay. It would be a tragedy if he left.

 

Maybe a complete overhaul might be what we need, loved watching Napoli last year, Jorghino is like Xavi, and we need a player like Hamsik, we could raise 350 million on 3 players, let alone Morata, Drinks, Barclay, our most important player imho is Kante, you cant replace that midfield coverage, but you could get a mid that scores as many as hazard ie Sane or Sterling.

I really hope Eden stays, and Sarri holds the key to a step up for Hazard, also the fact he'll train day in day out with Zola will massively benefit him..

I don't see who we could get that would replace what Hazard gives us. He's more then just his goals and assists. His ball retention, his abillity to dribble, so much attention goes to him he just opens up so much space for our other players. How many times have we seen teams double or even triple up on him. 

It just doesn't make sense to sell him. Trying to replace him would be a nightmare.

Prices just skyrocket because they'd know we'd be desperate. 

 

Just keep him. Tell Madrid to f*ck off. I can't see Hazard letting his contract run out. He's not that type of person. 

Just have Sarri have a talk with him and assure him we'll be making more moves on the transfer market and are looking to be more competitive again.

They won la liga again, absolutely eclipsed RM, get your point with Hazard, but we can replace his goals, as i said in other posts, Hazard sometimes plays to slow, because of his unrivalled ball skills, he tends to do it at his own pace, how many times does he get it, stand 2 or 3 players up, and the opponents defence has regrouped, it either then goes back or back and sideways, hope Sarri changes this approach.

They had Suarez and Messi though. We really don't have anyone that's as good as Hazard. Kante's great but he isn't an attacking player. 

I don't really agree with that. Hazard does slow down play sometimes but that usually has a good reason. 

If we're up and he doesn't feel like a counter is really on he'll indeed slow it down and just focus on keeping the ball with the team. 

It's part of possession football imo. Controlling the tempo of the game. 

Also i've seen people complain about Hazard slowing down when the counter really wasn't on aswell.

Okay but my point was that they still had Messi and Suarez even with them losing Neymar. We don't have that luxury here. 

If we sell Hazard there isn't anyone we can fall back to. We would be forced to buy and would have to make sure they are good buys.

Both Coutinho and Dembele didn't really do much last season.

I'm hoping we manage to keep Hazard. I can't see us selling both Willian and Hazard this window. Insigne would be a good upgrade for Willian though. I also want us to try sign Savic Milinkovic, instead of Golovin. He would be perfect alongside Kante and Jorginho in our midfield, adding much needed strength, movement, dribbling and technical ability to our midfield.

This is looking very possible for next season. Don't care what people say about Higuain but this team genuinely excites me. 

Wouldn't be a bad idea to sign the 3-4 players we need now and get the pre-season going properly. I'm pretty sure Willian will be gone, if we sign another CM, RLC will probably go on loan and never come back after the season ends.

Trying to be as realistic as possible, you would assume Sarri will use his trusted 433 that he used at Napoli.

Courtois looks very likely to leave. Last year of contract plus we won't give him the wage he thinks he deserves.
Likely to go to Real Madrid so I would look for Navas in the deal as he's a better ball playing gk and more importantly, a better keeper than the other replacements we are linked with. (Allison gone to Liverpool basically)

Willy can be 3rd choice.. at best. Seen some surprising reports linking us with cech.. If hes being forced out at Arsenal.. I would happily take him back as back up keeper.

Sarri seemed to have his RB slightly more defensive at Napoli so Azpilqueta could be well suited.
I honestly think moses will be used as back up.
Zappacosta can go to inter.

CB:
I think Luiz will stay tbh. Good on the ball and will suit Sarri's style of play.
Christensen or Rudier to play beside him.
Cahill back up or Rugani if he signs.

LB:
Sarri played a very attacking left back at Napoli.
Alonso looks far to slow to play there but should be given a chance for pre season.
Emerson... must see more of him.

play Kante and another new cm beside him. Really looks like it could be Golovon. Would prefer a more established cm like Saul/Koke/Savic

Hazard - two years left on contract.. refuse any offer... Get him playing in a Chelsea team that plays good football and he might actually want to stay... or sell next season.

Morata - 70m for a striker whos in his mid 20s.. deserves another season

No reason. He's gone through loan or permanent transfer that's already been arranged. I'd imagine it's a loan because of the lack of news about it. 

Strange because I figured Sarri would give him a look in preseason especially with the lack of quality at CB going to Australia but why else wouldn't he be traveling with the squad unless he's picked up a serious injury which again, we'd have heard about

I mentioned  Cech in another thread but that was more as a short term solution.

Sentiment aside I don’t see thatCech will come as number 2 unless Willy leaves.

I can’t but help think that the 3rd choice keeper will be from the academy for me Bulka has to a degree gone under the radar but I wonder if the plan is to let a academy product get the third berth and could well explain why Eduardo is out on loan.

Agree about Dave and indeed Zappacosta but Moses is far too inconsistent to play a mainly defensive role. His HG status may well mean he stays but it’s possible that he may well be kept but very much as a squad player  possibly not getting anywhere the number of starts he has had over the last couple of seasons.I would be quite comfortable if Aina were to be used as cover or who knows maybe a starter in the likes of the EL.

Dave switching to the left is always a possibility

The 4 CD you mention for me aren’t strong enough.

Cahill does of course have HG status so that may sway things but I think the days of him playing at the highest level in a 4 have gone .I wonder if the conversation he  will probably have with Sari will see him leave.

David Luiz likewise but for me is ball playing abilities and indeed versatility in that he can play slightly further forward is a big plus factor but I would be very happy to see a further CD addition and having heard good things about Rugani he would it seems he fits the bill.

LB. See my earlier comment re Dave.

Alonso did very well as a wing back but like Moses his defensive skills leave a little to be desired.I am far from sure that both he and Emerson who is way faster will still be here come the first game.

Midfield

Kante and of course Jorginho are no brainers and if we do indeed sign Golovin so would he be .

 Luiz , Ampadu , Barkley ,RLC and Bakayoko would provide more than adequate cover my only question is Fabregas but again his HG status is a plus meaning that if he stays one of the five I mention earlier will be shipped out 

Wingers. I can’t but help feel that unfortunately we are going to loose either Willian of Hazard. I hope we don’t so will work on the basis that we won’t.

So Hazard, Willian, Pedro no brainers and possibly CHO being slowly but surely used and maybe Moses could be used in a more forward role but for me we are still one short. Bailey is an interesting prospect .

Finally forwards.

I too agree about Morata. The much heralded change of style should suit both him and indeed Batshuayi I do see a role for Giroud but more as an impact sub but in truth one of the reason he left Arsenal was the fact he got peed off with that role.

Zouma is one of our worst ball playing centre backs. He wouldn't get near the squad, let alone first team. 

There must be a transfer afoot.... players like Kasey Palmer are going to australia

I wouldn't read too much into these kinds of things. It sounds like he builds around the players he has available, so he probably just had a RB and LB who just happened to play more like that, rather than it being a grand plan of his.
