Yeah young players were allocated numbers of those not touring. Tammy had 10. Aina had 2.

His English is actually okay. Better than Conte's I would say.

To be honest, beyond Koulibaly, not that many Napoli players who I would say improve our weaknesses. 

Just finished watching the game very pleased with what I saw in the first 60 minutes or so although it definitely tailed off after a few of the subs,

Lots of positives - Odoi looked very sharp and direct going forward as did Pedro, Fabregas and Jorginho pulled all the strings and both looked really good in that orchestrate role, Barkley and Pasalic provided a lot of drive going forward from midfield which was nice to see, and Pasalic for me looked much more suited to the style of football than Bakayoko, Ampadu and Luiz looked very comfortable at the back and on the ball and all the full backs provided the width needed for the formation.

Although the game was full of positives there were a few worry points, Bakayoko and Morata had poor games and Morata really needs to stop looking for a free kick. and Musonda and Piazon added very little to the side when they came on although they did get a limited opportunity.

Overall though I'm surprised we adapted so quickly to the style of play and loved the speed at which we transitioned from defence to attack.

Excited for the season ahead and looking forward to the Lyon game.

Almost certainly the last time he will wear our shirt.

I think he was named on the bench. 

I think he's as good as gone and to be honest, I'm at a point I keep forgetting that he's even here. What a waste of £35m that turned out to be. 

 

Team have landed back in the UK after their 18 hour flight home and apparently were straight back at Cobham for a training session. No time to lose during this pre-season!

Why would we keep him? Between him and Barkley I'd guess the latter would be given the chance to stay... DD was just a rush move last season, and a ridiculous one.

To be fair to Piazon he was desperate to get on the ball to do something and got very frustrated he was not passed to , he certainly wanted to get involved and create more

Probably getting ready for their inevitable loans...

Will be a good test this. Inter have the following players in their squad for tomorrow. Icardi, Nainggolan, Asamoah, Ranocchia, De Vrji, Valero, Candreva, L.Martinez, Eder.

Perisic and Brozovic are the two most notable names still on holiday.  Should be a good game. Inter are arguably the 3rd strongest side in Serie A too, maybe equal with Roma.
