Alonso will be found out in a back four. Too easy to get in wide, especially as modern day defending is to be closer to the centre back than out wide.

Our defence was awful for their last chance..  they had 3 unmarked players lined up..it should be 1.1

Good half. Lacked a little bit of quality in the final 3rd, but promising.

Ampadu, CHO, and Bulka look good. 

Morata playing better than usual. 

 

We look good in the first half, CHO impresses me from game to game. We control the game very well, push forward and a little bit shaky in the defence. 

Inter are very poor, the mistakes they're making are not for this level. It's a friendly match so I'm not going to celebrate like we winning a CL game, but we definitely looking good.

Nice to see Luiz back in defence. Jorginho seems to have a touch of the Dennis Wise's about him. Can't see anything from Berkeley that suggests he'll be doing much other than bench polishing next season.

not a bad half of pre-season football, knocked it around nicely. Hudson-Odoi looks good. 

CHO could be a little gem for us this season!

First half looked good and I know stats aren't everything but looking at the 1st half of the FA cup final we played 160 passes, we've just got 347 in the first half today. That and the fact it looks pleasing on the eye  at 2 weeks in with sarri is very encouraging.

Oh and with no hazard.

Indeed he is. His confidence is there to see, the way he runs at defenders definitely reminisces of Eden.

Started the game well, but around 25 minutes we seen a few problems that existed last season. The front 3 were getting less and less support and had to do things by themselves with the midfielders being pushed deep. Hopefully Sarri sorts those that issue out in time.
