With just a bit more intensity in attack. Barcelona used to be brilliant, but they could be boring to watch at the same time.

Barca Trigger into attack as soon as Messi is involved

And to be perfectly honest, that style doesn't suit Hazard imho, he is a  slow down and use his Wizard like one on one skills

That is the important word here, outplayed. They didn't just fluke their way to the semi final, they were better than Real Madrid and Juventus.

Exactly...sp*rs should have been treating this as toughest game of the cl so far

Nope..far from it. You need young players to coach & instill this style of football in. Ajax have an average age of 24, most of Pep’s & Klopp’s signings have been under 25.

We will need players that will press/run like their lives depended on it.

Still think Spurs will fluke it though I can just feel it

Agreed. You know Son will make a big difference in the second leg.

I do wonder how Ajax and their football would work against liverpool in the final though.

Kane will miraculously be fit. He is already running in training.

I would believe that if we were seeing evidence of it.

You see evidence every week, we play high with plenty of possession, instead of deep and without the ball. Were on that right path but nowhere near mastering it.

Glad we're not facing Ajax to be honest...can you imagine our midfield (Jorginho and Kovacic in particular) against this lot...

we'll also strugle tomorrow, for sure

Vertonghen didn't look good going off there. I'm amazed they even let him back on the pitch, he looked like he was about to collapse and couldn't stand on his feet any longer. It's a good job he didn't need to do any defending in those seconds that he stayed on the pitch, who knows what kind of damage he could have done to himself if he had.

It's more about having the players. Ajax have a group of very talented players who have the abilities suited for that style of play. We do not. We have an aging side with some players who lack the qualities needed for the system.

I think it's a good idea to focus on building a younger team, but we have to make sure to have the quality there too. If we are willing to spend the money, there are players out there. Ziyech of Ajax is one. Pepe is another.
