Only one goal to show for it, Ajax need 3 without reply to cope with kane and son next.

I think that is harsh on Ajax. They can still win this even if they take a 1-0 win into the 2nd leg. This side is very good, there is a good chance that they will be even better at home.

Spurs are skilled cheaters.

Spurs aren't out of this, the change they made with Sissoko gave them a lot more in midfield. First goal in Amsterdam will be all important.

Hopefully Ajax don't sh*t themselves like Atletico Madrid did against Juventus. Atletico Madrid were 2-0 up going into the 2nd leg, but they didn't know whether to stick or twist and ended up getting beaten. I hope Ajax don't sit on what they have, they will struggle if they do.

Ajax did well in Europe with their 4-3-3 so maybe Sarri isn't that far off as he looks.
We lack the player's or we have the player's but they can't get it in their heads how to play quick one touch

agreed - David Neres had that shot which hit the post in the 2nd half, that was a very good passage of play - spurs are lucky IMHO to not lose by two goals

Was it me or could anyone else also hear on the tv the Spurs fans shouting the "Y" word and "Y army" for a while? I think UEFA should investigate for antisemitic behaviour.

On another note, I hope Ajax go through but I think they've been better away, at least they lost at home to Madrid and drew against Juve. But Spurs have been dreadful.

We should buy one from Ajax if there's no ban coming, not Tadic though he's been good this season but he's too old.

I would give anything for De Ligt, he would transform our defence for years to come. He's a 19 year old cb that looks like a player at his peak. He even makes Blind look good.

Sadly, I think when he leaves Ajax, we won't even be one of the names he considers. He can pick any team right now, and we just don't seem to be after those types of players anymore.

Imagine reaching your first cl semi and playing like that? Don't care who they had out, that was pathetic..only sissoko  (off the bench) and rose turned up...how long is alli going to live off what he did three years ago? One of the most overrated players in the country

Also I hate to say this with Ruben doing well and Mount coming through but jeez we could use someone like Van de Beek and his ability to find space in the box and score goals. He has been doing it all through their campaign.

Yeah he has bags of energy doesn't he. Just seems to sniff out chances. He should have squared to make it 2-0 though. Such a big chance
