Solid game from us. We looked good in possession, although we need to sharpen the attack a bit. All in all, a nice first game of the new season.

Poor first half, we got a bit lucky to go in at 2-0, but much better second half, controlled the game well and deserved the win. We will get better and start to move the ball quicker, one or two players looked shaky, but some good individual performances too.

Good start to the season. Rudiger was very good.

His footwork has been better today, even though most of the time he has 2/3 defenders around him. He got better service in the second half, got hardly any in the first.

 

Well that was pretty Sarrisfactory in the 2nd half, Hazard made an immediate impact, and Morata woke up and played like a Centre forward

I thought we were much better in the 2nd half, we looked far more dangerous going forward. Good win, very easy.

Football's back, Chelsea are top, life is good. Now time to open a few tins of beer.

Great start to the season. 3 goals, clean sheet, and signs that the new system is taking shape. Realistically that was the ideal outcome from this one. Missed this!

Agreed, some nice touches and good close control, but that’s about it, I really hope he improves.

Great win and excellent second half performance get in.

Couldn't ask for a better start to the season.  I thought we looked more impressive in the second half despite the majority of our goals coming in the first half.

My excitement toward the new season has been underwhelming, but today makes me hopeful that we have the right man in charge. Looking forward to seeing how we develop and progress in the coming weeks but there's no doubt we have enormous upside.

Kante and Jorginho is going to be a great partnership. Hazard has shown us how important he is to the team and I think there's small signs that Barkley is heading in the right direction and that a change of manager might be the thing that gets him going.
