Alway's raise their game for us and it will be a difficult trip away from home.  Will need to be patient and dig deep to come away with anything.

Saves me posting basically the same points.

Cheers:drinks:

Palace may have beaten City but they also drew 0-0 at home to Cardiff. From that I assume they didnt turn up and their focus is on our game. They will be up for it.

Arsenal vs Liverpool is a huge game for us and we need to take advantage of any result that occurs.

A Pool win will give us the oppurtunity to go 5 clear above Arsenal if we win. A draw personally would be better.

An Arsenal win will put pressure on us but it would be great to see Liverpool lose. Also they face City in the following fixture and if they lose and Chelsea won both games, the gap between 1st and 4th would be 5-6 points.

Huge week coming up!

Come on Chelsea!

Some big selection decisions to be made, rotation has to come into play. Does Sarri really wants to feed Alonso to Zaha and Townsend? The midfield debate it's getting old, let's just say we need some fresh legs to get through this game. Hazard had a great game last night, it's asking too much to depend on him carry us again on Saturday. Play a striker, at least adds another dimension in the game, and Hazard still could be as effective as he was last night.

Palace are a poor mans Chelsea. Lack anything upfront and rely heavily on one player to produce.

I think Giroud could start here and Hazard can move back to his natural position.

Well, am hoping Arsenal can get a win. Somehow I still believe if we can get a good striker in January we can still win the league.

Pedro    Eden    Willian

I was very impressed with Emerson when he came on last night but I don't think Sarri rate him enough to start him in a League game when Alonso is fit.

With Pedro doubtful and CHO, playing Emerson and Alonso on the left might work as Emerson could track back quicker if Alonso gets caught upfield. If not it could force Sarri to bring in Giroud to play Eden on the left.

No doubt palace will put in a performance against us. It’s gonna be a very hard match and zaha, Townsend will likely cause us trouble. Given that Pedro and CHO are injured and we have another game after this in less than 3 days.

No chance, we are a fair few players off the title, not just a striker!

just realized the match is 6 am here... idk if im gonna get up and watch. Usually do but this week, even with the day off in the middle, has worn me down. Probably gonna sleep in a bit and just catch the highlights

Am not a big fan of Kovacic but he need to start this match!

We really need all 3 points seeing as Spurs have lost at home 1-3. That will make the gap tighter but Palace are a bogie side of ours. We will need to play out of our skins.

Yep 3 points will put us 2 points behind spurs. You just know that palace will put in a cup final performance.

I am sure their lot are still mad at Ken Bates for failing to move CFC to Selhurst Park back in the day. spurs?

As others said, if we win, we open up a 5 point from Arsenal which is a massive cushion to have. Top 4 will go to the wire I’m sure particularly as we still have to play top 6 away from home except Spurs

United also play tomorrow and they can go 3 points behind Arsenal if they win so it’s not inconceivable that they wil also join the race given they have new manager bounce.

Must win!
