Good man. I hope he gives?? the? team a MASSIVE ?bollocking????.

Frankly, I'm tired of the talk.

Bench 3/4 of those guys against Huddersfield. I want to see some action. Reward the ones that are playing hard.

You're a multi millionaire who will get an 8 figure payout if you get canned, so for goodness sake, change something.

This aging group of players may be able to outlas another manager, but they can't outlast father time. They're about done... I'm ready to speed up the process.

This is what we get when you continually sell your best players and buy second rate players who may or may not step up a level. We’ve taken too many “risks” on average players and our squad is starting to show that. It’s not good enough.

No proper investment over the last 2 years and this is the result, its only going to get worse we are the 5/6th best team in the league and thats where we will finish .

can anyone really wonder why the board didnt back Sarri with  a replacement for Cesc and dithered with Higuain , the man is so far out of his depth and the players have given up AGAIN.

We would be better off lumping the ball up field to the opposition and saying "go on you have a go", then we can sit back and allow them territory, and create loads of space in behind them.

Well it's a plan b anyway.

Problem is that the club are not willing to spend big on good players. Replacing the aging players will cost a lot of money which the club won’t spend.

No no no we got to stick to it. I’m hoping it will pay off eventually, if we revert back to counter attacking football then the next attacking manager will have same problems as Sarri.

Stick with attacking football, get a few signings in, eventually we will get there. Really shouldn’t lose 4-0 though.

Won't make a difference to this lot sadly. We have seen this time and time again with this group. Their response to criticism is to play even worse.

Yeah, Roman has other more pressing things to worry about.

So keep playing the aging players?

1. The club has shown that they will reinvest the money they get from sales. Hazard, Batshuyai, Bakayoko, Morata, Fabergas, Moses, Cahill, Drinkwater, Zappacosta ... There is a Ton of money in player sales to be had.

2. I'd rather watch the academy kids play their asses off and finish 6th, than this group show up every once in a while and finish 5th.

I know developing youth has been a foreign concept around here, but something is going to have to change.

Sarri: "In the first half we could never see that the second half would be a disaster. We stopped playing. We didn't play like a team. It's difficult to understand why. I'm not able to motivate these players. We need to play with a different mentality."

Then quit. You just said you cannot do this job.

Contrast our performance to Cardiff after the week they had. Yup...

I genuinely like your plan!  If we on purpose continuously kick the ball out of play for all 90 minutes, we will prevent the opposition from scoring.

At least Sarri knows what the problem is and he’s trying to solve it.

Clearly a lot of managers had the same problem with this squad, at least Sarri won’t be as destructive as Mourinho and Conte, he may get enough time to figure it out.

Possibly Hazard? Everybody clearly looks up to him and he has admitted himself he’s only in it to enjoy playing football rather than compete for trophies.

I think a part of why we are so angry is we literally saw Bournemouth undo us the way we use to undo the likes of Bayern, Barcelona et al....... even some of the players still in the squad were part of that..... and yet we fell for it harder than you can believe by a team that has no where the quality that our team did we when played like that.

I was thinking the same, a first or second season Mourinho team would have slaughtered this one.

What I think also gets misconstrued here is when opposition managers detail the specific plans they employ for dealing with Jorginho, as Eddie Howe has done tonight. These special marking measures are not being employed because Jorginho is such a quality player that it needs double up man marking. No, it's because the opposition managers can see our glass jaw. Mark Jorginho, overpower him and dispossess him and they are straight into the soft underbelly of our defence. Boom.

I have never supported or liked the idea of showing the door to our managers, but in this case the relationship just does not work.

like they did last year at our place? the same group of players but Conte in charge... players need to be held accountable.

It clearly is the players. I’ve never seen any team have such up and down seasons.

We’re like a ping pong team. One season we win the league, the next we finish outside of top 4.

Mourinho couldn’t motivate the players after winning the title, Conte couldn’t do it after winning the title, now Sarri is going through this.

Actually I hope he’s getting a bollocking from the players!

I hope he’s apologising for playing players out of position, not playing to the players strengths & not being flexible with tactics!

Someone mentioned a while back that the players seem to stop trying once they know the title is out of reach over the past few seasons......certainly seems the case this season as the team was flying when top spot was within easy reach.

I don't think the manager is completely at fault, but how the hell can you say the players aren't at fault too? How many times do we need to keep going through this same situation? 3 of the last 4 years this has happened now, there is clearly something wrong with these players. You don't see coaches at other clubs constantly complaining about their players, maybe it's because their players aren't impossible to manage like our lot are.
