And then Higuain. Good Lord. He’s come to make Morata and Torres look less disappointing.

God help us after Hazard has gone. He negates the other two I mentioned by being worth three players.

Eden is on fire but the quiet star for me has been RLC who is just able to use his strength when under pressure and hold the ball and keep it moving. We look much better with him in the team.

Callum has linked up well,  but I feel there's a lot of standing still off the ball. Has run into a few cul de sacs and then not really worked to win the ball back. You don't want to criticise the lad too much but that's an area to work on. Similar to Joe Cole in Jose's first year. You can have magic feet but you've got to work for the team too.

It should be a penalty, Hazard is between him and the ball, it'd not your average shoulder charge 50-50 ball like Oliver thinks it is.

Good half overall, don't want to criticize the players, rather try to focus on positives.

One exception is Higuain. It just feels if we had a proper striker there, we'd be more than a goal up by halftime. Hopefully he proves me wrong in the next 45.

 

Anything less than £150m for him is a travesty, even if you have to Keep him for another year and let me go for free real can go buy Mbappe and Neymar
