So current rumour seems to be that Sarri could leave as early as this week.

Can’t help thinking this has been lined up for a while now. Makes you wonder if there was a moment earlier in the season where Sarri and the club had already agreed he’d go as soon as the season ended?

If he does go let’s just hope we get his replacement in quickly rather than the protracted affair we saw last summer with Conte/Sarri.

Chelsea are preparing to announce an amicable parting with Maurizio Sarri in the next few days.

Sarri was willing to stay if the club bought into his footballing vision and provided him with more public backing in the face of discontent from some fans.”

Seems the rumours are getting stronger.

There is some growing rumours about mourinho coming back with Terry as his assistant.

If Cech comes in as Sporting director, i can see why he would want to bring mourinho back.

Ive seen mourinho a few times on the pundit team for being sports, and he seemed in good spirits, he very much still had his finger on pulse, and he looked hungry again.

How long that would last if things started to go sour is debatable.

With all the young players we are hoping to bring through, Mourinho seems the exact opposite of what we need right now, although it didnt stop them bringing him back the second time.

He has obviously rubbed a few fans up the wrong way while he was at united, so there are relationships that need to be repaired.

Il support any manager that comes in, especially one that has done so much for the club, but i cant help think mourinho mark 3 could be really destructive long term.

So it looks like the circus is about to roll back into town ... if indeed it ever left ...

Life is never dull at the bridge, what ever we say, Chelsea and United are simply the two clubs that have always attracted the most publicity, we are pure showbiz! Better than being a Middlesborough or Hull.

We certainly need something to get it us all feeling good through the summer, Baku certainly helped as did the dippers on Saturday night (can't believe I'm thanking scousers!) Getting Allegri will definately be depressing, whether its to early or not for him I think Frank at present is the only one that will at least get the goodwill of us all, and if it works it will be wonderful.

The third coming!! bloody hell. Its Chelsea so anything is possible. I did hear this a week or so ago, but have tried to ignore it, it couldn't happen surely?

Nothing would suprise me with chelsea mate. Mourinho was asked about it after the CL final, he could've shut down then, but he just said he cant talk about it.

Mourinho with no warchest. Won't happen.

Patrick Vieira is the only touted manager that plays football building from the back. Just watched Frankies interview with Tubes and he said Vieira is man of progressive football.

Frankie I would love to see back but as I said before this job is up for applications once a season so Frankie could just pick a year.

The only way I would want to see Mourinho back is with a lot of conditions:

- He agrees to chill the f**k out and stop bringing arguments and bad press all the time

- He agrees that for the first 2 years, his remit is to build a youthful side, making use of our best academy prospects, not to sign stop-gap players to try and win the league once

- We also revamp the staff around him. We need a DoF with real knowledge, who can help guide the project of an exciting, youthful side and stop Jose when he wants to sign a load of Willians for their workrate.

yes I think not let Jose do news conferences, let JT do all the media work. Let the circus begin!! I love Chelsea

Would be amazed if Jose comes back for the third time, what has he got to prove with the club after the last 2 rounds? Whether he brings JT or Drogba, it won't make much difference to how he runs the team. Jose is good at most part of the management, promoting youth is not his strength, even during the worst injury he refused to play youth.

Jose is always very laid back when he is a pundit. Don't you guys think he is chilled when coaching. He will be the same sour petulant manager he always was. His style needs to be updated 10 years and he needs to change his approach towards players. I don't see that happening unfortunately.

The way the club is being run is ameturish with no plan beyond a sticky patch of form andd boos from some of the fans. After all that time and money spent on getting Sarri, they go and do this. Just a laughable way to run a top club!

I was a massive Jose fan back in the day, but the last few years have left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Hes just not the same manager he once was, builds teams that only last 1 season and after that everything goes out the window. Just as we are starting to bring youth into our side like Ruben, Odoi, Christensen and maybe even Reece James and Mount this season... Is it wise to hire someone back as anti-youth as Jose? I dont think so.

Don't see it happening but when i saw Mourinho reactions when asked about the Chelsea-job in the studio post-match on saturday you could be forgiven for thinking there might be something in it.

Probably not the right man for us at this stage but i don't think i could ever be against hiring Mourinho.

I can't see Jose coming back again.

I'm sure he probably still has a job personal relationship with people within the club, including Roman but I would imagine everyone has moved on now.

My money would be on Lampard and he would also be my personal choice as well.

I actually hope he comes back now just to see the fans reaction and the entertainment he will bring off field

He only entertains when we are winning. I don't want to see him back although he has my utmost respect. I want something else. Last time he guided us 10th.
