Ampadu's playing style worries me. I like that he likes to get stuck in, but I can't help but feel that he is going to pick up a lot of cards and injuries if he doesn't change things a bit. He doesn't seem to know when to tackle, he just goes for it every time. Hopefully that improves the older he gets.

How the hell is Piazon still contracted to Chelsea?

Isn't it time that we sold Piazon now? I don't see the point in holding on to a 25 year old who will only be loaned out again. He's been loaned out 6 seasons in a row, and the only time I see him play for us is during pre-season. The same goes for Lewis Baker. Just sell them on now, they have no future at the club.

Well they deserved that. Bit of a messy 2nd half from us.

Honestly, see looking at our twitter threads actually makes me cringe. The amount of these ‘fans’ throwing their toys out the pram because a team full of guys who will probably be sent out on loan haven’t smashed a team in to their season. Horrendous.

At least it gave Frank an idea who Isn't going to be in his thoughts.
Must be hard for the players to shine in that kind of game, but I suppose that's what makes the exceptional ones...

Sloppy in possession and a lack of shape in the midfield leads to a not undeserved equaliser. 

Slightly disappointing second half from us, barely any quality on show. 

Biggest plus from the game was probably Michy B looking decent, which given our lack of quality from the forwards last season is an early sign of hope. 

Will Drinkwater be bought in from the cold by Frank? 

Bakayoko doesn’t look any better than when we last saw him in the blue of Chelsea. 

Guehi is one to watch again, looks very cool headed for an 18yo center back.

I know it's only pre season, but like you say, Bakayoko looks no different than the player we bought two seasons ago. He still looks clumsy and he still turns like a tank. I'm sure Lampard wants to have a look at everybody before deciding what to do with them, but I don't think Bakayoko will do anywhere near enough to impress him.

Brown and Piazon need to leave for the sake of their own careers.

Bakayoko is still absolutely awful too.

I think Drainkwater is more likely to be involved in the squad again. 

Midfield options of Jorginho, Kante, RLC, Barkley, Drinkwater, Kovacic. Six players for three positions sounds about right. 

Bats and billy Gilmore were the only positives, I’ve warched him play for Scotland under 15’s he has unbelievable vision I hope he keeps developing, I know preseason and third string players etc but there was no shape at all in the second half, surely any professional player knows how to keep the shape he is being played in, was hoping to see more from bakayoko, same thing. Ampadu needs to go out on loan and get game time, I think we will be pretty much seeing Sarris team in a different shape plus bats if I’m honest, token chances given here and there to youth.
