What is the point in VAR if they’re not going to highlight that to the referee? Even just say, I think you should have a look at that again and double check you’re happy with the decision.

Oh god, was the "not that type of player" wheeled out again? That must be one of the stupidest things to say in football or in any other sport. They're all that type of player, each and every one is capable of an intentional horrible tackle, as they all want to win regardless.

That was awful defending by us. I thought 3 centre backs would limit the effect of simple balls played through the middle. Really need to sort that out, inexperience is not an excuse for basic defending.
