Like most on here I am disappointed with Kia and that he has not fulfilled becoming  the type of player we were hoping for or thought we were getting when we paid a huge fee for him.
But what I will say is that Kia tries his hardest every game, his work rate is one of the highest in our squad and he gives his all for the club. So to see some on here attack him and throw insults at him just because in their eyes he’s not good enough I find disappointing too.
Like Timo before him he gives 100% in every game and does not hide even after things go wrong (like some would do)

his doing his best, in a position not ideal. Fair enough it may be decided he isn’t good enough and we cut our loses but we can’t say he didn’t give it his all so cut the lad some slack with the insults!

while he keeps giving his all for Chelsea , he’ll get my full support and backing.

Kia is certainly no Rolls Royce. Kia is not even a Hyundai.

I find him very frustrating, but i also think there are extenuating circumstances.

He IS NOT a striker, and never will be as long as he has a hole in his arse. Against Dortmund he had a good game, it may be it's the 1 in 15 he has, but he also wasn't playing as a striker. he was playing in a role that actually suited him. We all bleat on about wasting Reece when he's not playing wingback for 1 game!. Havertz has played out of position for most of his Chelsea career.

He looks lazy, but his stat's are some of the highest in the team, so he is working. Perhaps he'd work harder still in a position that he truly enjoys.

He seems to be bullet proof, never dropped or pulled, this needs to change to keep him more honest.

He needs his arse kicking to teach him how to pass with more authority, too many lazy hospital passes.

He has a lot of talent, but we waste it with how he's used. We don't need jacks of all trades and masters on none. we need our players to be masters of their particular trade. His IS NOT striker.

Depends how you define striker, an out and out 9 no but his best form for both us and Levekusen came playing a Firmino esque role.

Last night was laughable and summed up Havertz at CFC. Such a frustrating player who has been given far too many chances and doesn't do anything near enough to justify the faith shown in him. Move him on end of season and lets get a PROPER footballer who can score goals.

You could argue that he had a "Kaká" role at Leverkusen too.

Will always have a soft spot for Kai due to his CL goal, and I wish him the best. But it really is time now, he's not going to get any better here, he needs to go at the end of the season, it's best for both parties. Hopefully Bayern will be interested in signing him. If we can even recoup half the fee we paid for him I'll be happy.

The simplest way to explain the proble with Havertz, is he isn't suited to the PL.

He'd be great in a slower league, with more time on the ball. But he doesn't have that here, and he hasn't been able to adapt in 3 years. It's best for all parties, to move him on.

Watching Forest last night made me realise how slow and indirect Havertz is. They moved the ball quickly and directly, at the weekend every time the ball came to Havertz he'd take a touch away from goal and wait until their defence and midfield were back in shape. Three years is enough for me to realise he should go, if he kicks on at Bayern or Madrid or something fair play to the lad but he's not close to doing enough for us.

Been saying well over a year he is simply too slow in possession.

But that is what make everyone here rave about Kai under Tuchel.

Did anyone rave about him under Tuchel?

I will be surprised if he goes to BM unless as a squad player.

He has made the German squad and although often disappointing can also score big goals yet surely they realise he is very inconsistent.

I don't think Kai is inconsistent. He is quite good if you ask him to be a  floating 9.

I like Kai, but its pretty clear hes not a striker and there isnt really a place for him in the squad anymore. He would do well back at Bayern in the Muller role I feel like so its best for all parties if he goes there for a reasonable fee.

Given his situation at the club he is an ideal player to sell this summer. He will still command a good fee because the potential is he could break out in to a top player (in the same way Fleixs price stays high because of that).

He also has around a remaining 28.8mill book value for FFP purposes. So if we could get Bayern or someone to cough up 50mill there would be near 20mill to help with our FFP needs.
