Unique for a chelsea kit i'll give it that. 16 hours ago, JM7 said: Slight off topic - look at City’s away shirt. That is beautiful. Looks like someones grandma knitted it

Would be okay without those stupid patterns on it, reminds me of a 1970's carpet back in my childhood. I wonder if the shirt manufacturers have seen a downturn in shirts sales, as thankfully especially at Chelsea the craze of wearing a replica shirt to a game is not in vogue.

If you're above the age of 14 you shouldn't be wearing a football shirt to a game anyway.
June 29, 20206 yr Just now, RIP Mourinho said: If you're above the age of 14 you shouldn't be wearing a football shirt to a game anyway. Quite right, as a teenager in the 80's you would wear your best gear to a game, a replica shirt was and is just for football training or running, at today's prices it's not worth it for anything.

Luckily I get a significant and completely legitimate discount on replicas otherwise I wouldn't bother. I don't like wearing to a game - unless its the fa cup final.
June 29, 20206 yr The new home kit seems very Everton in style, that may just be me. How long are we with Nike for, I'm hoping we can return to Adidas after.
June 29, 20206 yr So it’s obviously leaked and the club are openly displaying it but they’ve still not officially announced it? All seems a bit silly!
June 29, 20206 yr It looks OK, at least the red is gone now. But if we keep coming 3rd it could become a meme like 4th was for 4rsenal. Ch3lsea, Ch3lsea, Ch3lsea!

It's getting announced on Wednesday and I assume we are wearing the kit against West Ham on Wednesday night. Just a guess, but I imagine our contract with 3 starts on the 1st July.
June 29, 20206 yr Was really hoping they were going to have "Three." across the front instead of the "3" but the design of the kit isn't too bad.
June 29, 20206 yr The design of the actual kit isn’t too bad. A little basic but it’s nice enough. It’s the 3 logo which is awful. A sponsor can really make or break a kit.

Yes think the cup final is the one game you may get away with wearing a replica shirt, although if I did it would be a retro one, I haven't the last few cup finals, but remember wearing my Coors shirt to the 1997 cup final.

June 30, 20206 yr I really like the new home shirt. Really impressed and think it is going to really be popular with fans eventually. I certainly will be purchasing the new shirt.

June 30, 20206 yr No thought has gone into it at all, just a bland bog standard shirt with a ugly sponsor. Not a big deal if it brings in the cash though Edited June 30, 20206 yr by Chelsbear
June 30, 20206 yr Some of you lot will never be happy no matter what the design or sponsorship. We’ll look real good banging in 90 league goals next season wearing this, you won’t be complaining then.
