I have no doubt about that, I'm just saying he's not going to get scapegoated for nothing. He's the major weak link in the side at the moment. Werner is there because he has to be and he's out of position. Havertz is playing over Kovacic and Gilmour who right now would be much better. 

I hope he picks it up, for his sake.

Hope I’m totally off but I don’t see us sniffing the goal in the second half, maybe a close header but other than that this lineup just doesn’t work.

I don't think he is back to full fitness following Covid. Be better to use him off the bench at present while he works on his fitness in training.

Havertz needs to get involved in things happening inside the box. He can finish off a move. That is if Frank decides to play him. And I think he will. Havertz is going everything else okay except create in attack. Losing balls and undecided all the time.

The question is who replaces Werner (or more likely Giroud so Werner moves central) on the right? Changing to a wing back system won’t work as we’d then lose the threat of Pulisic.

On paper it may look like he is playing in the same position, but that isn't what is actually happening when you watch him. He's much wider for us than he was at Leipzig. He would start wide, but would be moving centrally off the ball. He wasn't playing a traditional wingers role at Leipzig like we ask him to do.

I don't think Frank will change the formation easily now that this 4-3-3 is bringing us results. For now anyway.

I've said it before - games just are passing him by at the moment, he's a passenger ...bring on Kovacic at least his work rate will be above Havertz

He's drifted in the middle tonight and looked completely lost amongst their back 3.

Nobody complains about people criticising Lampard, it's comments from people saying he is clueless and should be sacked that get a reaction out of people. I have criticised Lampard now and again, but nobody has come after me.

Seems like his confidence is low right now. Happens to most players but I am sure he will turn it around.
