Hopefully utd continue their ability to win while being a bit ropey against Liverpool tomorrow. And Burnley take points off West Ham. Doubt Sheff Utd will do any favours v sp*rs

Need a Liverpool win so City can clinch the title before playing us so they’re less likely to give a f**k about the game.

Comfortable win in the end, good game management in the end

Both of our goals were a thing of beauty, Mount and Werner producing good chances for silky finishes by Havertz

Christensen is probably our most improved player under Tuchel

Next season we will see the best of our Germans, they are both working hard and look to now be adapting well to our more physical league

This was probably the best match we could have had with our midweek exerts

It would be nice now if ManU could batter the Scousers tomorrow

Real you are next

Just realised 4th isn’t safe with arsenal potentially being able to win the Europa

I believe there would be 5 teams in UCL then. It's only not safe for Liverpool or West Ham if they pip us for a top 4 spot but we win UCL and Arsenal win UEL.

TT definitely has some food for thought for Wednesday game. Kai is knocking on the door, Timo did enough imo to maintain his place in the team. Mount again great performance. Pulisic obviously deserves to start. The only player that didn't really impose his will to start vs Madrid was Ziyech who played decent but didn't really set the world on fire. Will be a decent option of the bench.

Rwb is the biggest question mark for me will he play James who looked brilliant or go with Cesar again. Either way Chilly B, Silva and Andreas look certain to start with Rudi's injury we have to hope he is fit to start because he's very important to this defense although I think Thiago, Andreas and Cesar would be a decent back 3.

Not all his fault cos so many chelsea players have done bugger all since the second, but if Tammy wants to prove Tuchel wrong, he’s hardly going the right way about it. Has hardly touched the ball.

Have to agree with that assessment, everything seemed to be around 80% with him. Maybe he has already left in his mind.

It would piss me off if clueless Arteta managed to win another trophy.

Guy keeps stumbling forward

I think we're used to Werner not scoring now but he was fantastic today. Work rate, brilliant assist and his pace terrorised their defence. Mount brilliant as usual. Havertz top class. I was expecting a tough game, however we made that easily. Gilmour struggled a bit, however has not played that much so I guess that is understandable. Big pressure on Liverpool tomorrow now. Also I am relieved that when we go away to City next week, regardless of result we still will be in top 4, as I know how difficult of a game that will be. Bring on Madrid!

Good result and sets us up nicely for RM.

Defensively we could have been 2-0 down in the first half with both Havertz and Billy losing possession in our half just outside the box yet not today against Fulham.

Havertz finished well with all three chances (one ruled out for off-side) and his goals remind me of one Gavin Peacock who was also an instinctive finisher in that spece between
last defender and Keeper.

Werner worked hard and also provided an assist. Parker was asking his team to play a high line to compress the field yet the defenders said they couldn't because of Werner's runs.

Will be interesting now to see if Havertz starts on Wednesday.

It’s actually a good thing in the long run if it keeps him in the job. He can continue slowly taking them down towards eventual relegation.

Happy with the win. Two good goals by Kai Havertz.

Thought Mendy had a good game ,with his save just before half time a very good one indeed.

Good to see Billy Gilmour getting a start.

Mason Mounts control and then ball for the first goal was genuinely world class.
