Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!

If he did that himself or had his team do it is so petulant.

What is he even doing? His text to Tim Howard earlier, now this. He says he has a meeting tomorrow, but instead of keeping his head down and waiting for that meeting, he continues to act like a child. If he wants out already, then fine, piss off quietly. I don't see why anybody would even want him when he is behaving like this though. Surely outsiders are looking at this and want nothing to do with him.

His behaviour is so odd, he's disrespecting the club, the manager, his teammates, and worse of all, the fans.........but why? Is this all because Tuchel had him on the bench for a few games after his injury, just before he picked up covid?

Assume he never change it in the first place with regards to that Facebook thing?

If that's recently changed from Chelsea FC to Inter Milan he's lost it completely.

Let’s sell him to Newcastle. To go from champions of Europe to relegation battlers would be glorious for a c*nt like Lukaku.

Cool...they may spend some quid on him...

Well, no matter what happens from here, he’s lost the support of the fans. Aside from the fact he’s a literal millionaire footballer.. what a disappointing career, to be disliked by every club you’ve been at bar Anderlecht. One significant title in 28 years, laughing stock and the ‘meme clown’ of the football community.

He has no one to blame but himself. He was given opportunities a lot of players in lower league would dream of but bungled it. The only reason why he desperately wants to go back to inter is because that’s his level a retirement league where the average age 35 and they play at a slower pace. He is just not good enough for the PL generally and Chelsea specifically. The attack on Tuchel’s tactics is to absolve himself from any blame for his horrendous performance so far. Today’s  game though far from great showed that his presence hinders the flow of the team. Initially I wanted to sell him but as punishment he should play with the under 23 until The remainder of his contract. Yes I’m being spiteful but he needs to be punished for disprespecting the club the manger and more importantly the fans.

I can’t see how that wasn’t changed to Inter Milan today, as the page HAS been active, him & his media team have been posting stuff. It’s not like some kind of abandoned account not updated since the Inter days. 😅

Never wanted him back. Since his return, he’s done nothing to justify his presence at the club, his wages,  or the outlandish fee that was wasted on him. Probably won’t happen, but I’d love to see him gone by the end of the current transfer window.

What I'm struggling with is, will Inter even want him back?

Dzeko is objectively the better forward. I fear we're stuck with him unless Newcastle or Juve bail us out.

You would hope even he is not daft enough to do this unless he sounded Inter out first. You would hope....

Assuming he would agree to that.

Offer him £400k a week and I imagine we’ll get an interview saying “I would only have left Chelsea for Newcastle, I have always respected the club and wanted to come here, as a child I got a Shola Ameobi shirt and it was the best day of my life”

Shearer was always a huge example for me, i never miss a game, i love the Saudi people, Oil is very important i didn't know you can make plastic from oil, imagine what we would do without oil. I personally hate windmills. I have always wanted to play with Jonjo Shelvey. let's be fair khashoggi got what he deserved, you cannot go publicly criticising someone, i would personally NEVER do a thing like that, i have to much integrity for that.

Eddie Howe is a visionary, how he managed to help liverpool get rid of deadwood is legendary

Interesting viewpoint by Gary Neville.

"I remember when he was at Old Trafford a few years ago and it’s your own club, I didn’t feel he was committed at Old Trafford. I didn’t shed a tear when he left.

"I didn’t feel he was always professional. He told the truth, it’s an uncomfortable truth, it’s very difficult to unravel the truth but I do think that he will reintegrate him, Thomas Tuchel over the next couple of weeks.

I'm always hoping that things work out. I was really excited by the prospect of signing Haaland and when it didn't work out I still supported Tuchel getting whoever else he wanted and that was Lukaku. Then came the debut, he scores, then he bullies Arsenal and wins us the first CL game against Zenit and I really hoped that things can work out...

Now I don't think so anymore. In my eyes he's gone. Total lack of common sense, as if Chelsea isn't paying him massive wages he just goes and changes his social media like that... He's finished here.

“He is our player and will stay our player. We will always protect our players and when we take certain decisions, first we have to evaluate the situation and not listen to the media or the pressure. But we want to understand what he said and why he said it. This is the meeting tomorrow.

“From there, we will take the decision [but] there’s no doubt he will stay our player and we will also protect our player." Thomas Tuchel, Source: https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2022/1/2/22863876/tuchel-lukaku-matter-will-be-handled-collectively-behind-closed-doors-through-open-conversation

Also rumblings that Rom told Frederico Pastorello today that "his heart never left Inter and he cannot ignore it anymore". That he plans on telling the club, TT and the players he will be professional, train, play when selected but he wants to be clear that he does not wish to be here anymore and wants to return to Inter as soon as possible.

I have seen nothing to suggest Inter want him back, could afford him or have players we would accept in exchange to supplement the deal. No rumblings at all of any sort of Inter deal so it leaves me to wonder has he recieved encouragement about this and is decreasing his value thinking if it goes low enough Inter will buy him back or has he completely lost his damn mind.

Thank you for not using imagery from his current (sh*tbag) club.

I figuered you had a hard enough day already and thought I would be nice to you. 🙂

Jermain Jenas on match of the day thought that Lukaku wasn't a Tuchel signing rather a club signing hence he struggled to fit him into the team and perhaps Lukaku felt that. I sort of agree with him. It was so foolish from Lukaku as he was just discovering his form with us.

I don't think Inter or the fans want him back even if they could afford him so we are stuck with him.

Lets hope for the best with the meeting tomorrow.
