Just noticed that 4 of Liverpool's 5 PL wins to date are against teams that are currently in the bottom five, and that we haven't played ANY of those teams yet ... 🙂

Liverpool's "best" win is against 14th placed Palace !

They have drawn against us (luckily) and Citeh to be fair.

What has me reaching for the sick bucket this morning,  most of the paper talk and there is even a pole on the BBC I think I saw it on my usual Monday morning trawl through is about Klopp claiming Mo Salah is the best player in the world at the moment.

This isn't a complete blue tinted post, his last two goals have been have been amazing, as good as Eden Hazard say, he certainly is a great player and we really let that one slip the net however......

As you pointed out, I mean Watford defense for example 🤣 ......................  led me to thinking if we had the chance to buy him back would we ? I don't think we would, I think we have equally as good players just a completely different style of play. We out played them, he hardly touched the ball and they were lucky to get that penalty and Reece sending off for example.

I reckon there are a few players in our team you would not swap him for. Mendy for a start 🙂

Fortunately no one was hurt. I guess that NEC Nijmegen v Vitesse Arnhem is a local derby. Followers of Dutch football will be able to confirm or correct.

NEC Nijmegen's Goffertstadion

A stand in NEC Nijmegen's Goffertstadion buckled on Sunday as Vitesse Arnhem fans celebrated their side's 1-0 Eredivisie victory.

As supporters jumped up and down in unison in front of the players at full time, the stand gave way - although reports say no-one was injured.

Hubert Bruls, the mayor of Nijmegen, called for an investigation and said he was "very shocked by what happened".

Nikolai Baden Frederiksen scored the winner in the first half.

Bruls told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: "Fortunately, as far as is known, no-one was injured. I want an investigation into what happened here as soon as possible."

"It was shocking," Vitesse defender Riechedly Bazoer told Dutch broadcaster NOS. "Fortunately, everyone survived."

"A stadium which should be safe is collapsing. This must be investigated," the Netherlands'' KNVB football federation said.

A spokesperson for the government agency responsible for investigating such incidents said it had not yet been decided whether an investigation would be opened.

Vitesse move up to sixth in the table and host Premier League side Tottenham in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

I don't think saying Salah is the best player at the moment is a stretch. Who is better than him?

You could say that, some supporters got ambushed at a petrol station and attacked with an axe 🪓

Bizarre to hear carragher wax lyrical about Arsenal getting a point out of it. Thought it was embarrassing for them to be going wild about a last minute equaliser at home against palace.

Your owners could never. One day in charge and already saving lives. 🙂

Btw seeing the United self-destruction over the last 48 hours, I wonder whether Pep should take full credit and say he never wanted Ronaldo. Ronaldo is almost 37 years old, self-centered player and can´t press to safe his life. He never made any sense whatsoever at Manchester City, but the move to United has un-done three years of United re-building. Even if Ole is not good enough of a manager, his idea/heart was in the right place.  Don´t buy old washed-up names, build a cohesive squad that can actually match the workrate and legs of City, Liverpool and Chelsea. I bet Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho were super-excited to play with each other and Bruno was the clear alpha behind. Ronaldo destroyed the whole team chemistry in one move.

It is their current level.

Arsenal is officially a mid table team, hope they give Arteta a contract extension soon. They gave Emery a hard time, but at least he made an Europa league final, and get them the Europa league spot.
