We'll, you can say many of those things about American owners and (most certainly) our own. It's a bit hypocritical to turn a blind eye to those and suddenly behave like the squeaky clean world of football is being dirtied for the first time.

The difference is that those are not Pr campaigns for a state (and religion). I haven’t seen the Vatican 🇻🇦 buying a club as of yet

Why is that specifically a problem? Every American president is a PR campaign for Christianity BTW. In any case, that banner doesn't mention this as one of the problems. Other owners are guilty of many of the problems listed there. Or are associated with regimes that are guilty of the same.

Anyway, all I am saying is many rich owners in football have sketchy backgrounds and have been guilty of various atrocities while they have grown their wealth. Aside from Middle Eastern and Russian owners, read about how Kroenke and the Glazers have made their money and the many violations they have commited along the way.

So money in football is generally tainted.

@ashwin I’m not trying, and wasn’t initially, trying to make the point that the new Newcastle owners are the only ones who aren’t clean. I’m not outraged about anything. I just find it funny that the premier league has this anti racism campaign, and will trace and hunt you down, ban you for life, for anything remotely racist, but doesn’t mind a club being sold to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦. 

the difference though to me is in the motive behind buying the club. I doubt it is to make money. Its more of an islamic political campaign, to get more influence in the west. I can’t think of a better way to buy yourself into a position where you can reach millions of people. 

I am  always interested what happen when a new manager comes in. Do they play the same player or do they make many changes. In spurs cases, after 245 different combinations turn out Nuno ended up with the same conclusion as Mou.

This really was the europa Lge v conference Lge derby. Dross v dross.

A Utd win is good for us on balance but rather it was a draw with lots of injuries and suspensions.
